Dusun Supremacy?
A person holding the title of CJSS must know how to confine his oral judgments before the eye of the public so as not to create confusion or stereotyping one particular race in a derogatory manner.
Fariq Akbar
Almost all Kadazan Dusun politicians both from the ruling party and opposition law makers came out in defense of the CJSS, Richard Malanjum, without understanding the real issue.
It seems that ketuanan Dusun exists in Sabah as this impasse has clearly shown us. To question a judge from the Kadazan clan is deemed seditious and dangerous.
PKR must be delusional to even consider lodging a police report. What is seditious about the statement made by Datuk Akbar Khan that can lead or influence the Sabahans into disarray? The not so honourable Dusun CJ needs to be immediately arrested for inciting racial hatred from the words he uttered in open court. A person holding the title of CJSS must know how to confine his oral judgments before the eye of the public so as not to create confusion or stereotyping one particular race in a derogatory manner.
As a judge and a man of his stature, one should have instead taken a more sensible and careful approach with the words used in delivering the judgment. The ex-MP of Libaran was only voicing his disgruntlement based on the racial xenophobic statements, not the judgment. So please do not manipulate or twist his statement the other way around just as what all the sympathisers of the CJSS did by saying the CJSS was not referring to Malaysian citizens of Pakistani origin. How do they know what he actually meant? Are they under the CJSS’s directive? Is the CJSS aligned to the ketuanan Dusun movement and the missionary agenda? Why is the CJSS keeping mum and only letting his dogs bark?
As far as I am concerned, the ex-MP demands an apology based on the CJSS’s statement that every Pakistani needs to be checked. He did not question the judge’s decision at all. But those who came forward in defending the CJSS claimed that the MP is in contempt of court for tarnishing the CJSS’s good name and reputation.
This is a totally baseless and foolish accusation as nobody who is a citizen of Malaysia and a true Sabahan would actually condemn the judgment when it clearly proved that those 5 Pakistanis were guilty of the charges brought upon them. What more to jeopardise the security and the well being of the locals.
The issue of the ex-MP questioning the judgment is not relevant at all. But the sweeping generalisation remark in the form that every Pakistani must be checked and declaring Sabah as hell are in contention. The motive behind his bigotry statements are in question.
Is the ex-MP breaching any laws in exercising his rights in freedom of opinion and speech? Shouldn’t one be allowed to agree to disagree on matters that need further clarifications? Or one must be like lembu dicucuk hidung and just tag along even though it is wrong? Do we need to censor what our views are on the judges? PKR Sabah and BN’s UPKO and PBS are in motion to bring back ketuanan Dusun in Sabah because they can question and belittle anyone they want but we cannot touch on them unless we succumb to their race supremacy theory which I fully reject and condemn.
It clearly demonstrates that Sabah is now heading towards ketuanan Dusun and we must be able to counter this pandemic before other races and religions will be swept away in the racist current.
Sincerely,
Fariq Akbar
