‘Azmin will attend to Kajang, I will attend to Permatang Pauh,’ says Guan Eng
(The Rakyat Post) – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has pledged to take care of the Permatang Pauh parliamentary constituency if Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail wins at the polls next Thursday.
Just as his colleague, Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali had said he would commit to putting the Kajang state constituency under his care, Guan Eng is ready to help Dr Wan Azizah in Permatang Pauh.
“I will help her to take care Permatang Pauh when she wins on May 7,” said Guan Eng when campaigning for her at Padang Taman Guar Perahu here.
Dr Wan Azizah, before this said her position as PKR president gave her the authority to let her deputy, Azmin to take care of her Kajang state seat.
Meanwhile, Azmin when met in the same event said he is satisfied with Dr Wan Azizah’s performance as Kajang assemblyman.
Azmin, who is also the Bukit Antarabangsa assemblyman, also reiterated his stand that as the Menteri Besar, Kajang will be taken care of and he would be responsible in ensuring development projects are carried out.
“Even though she is a new assemblyman, she has managed to solve many local issues such as waste management and road congestion, which also shows her capabilities in taking care of her constituency,” said Azmin.
