Guan Eng: Pakatan shadow Cabinet not possible because of Hadi
(Malay Mail Online) – It is not possible “at this moment” for Pakatan Rakyat (PR) to form a shadow Cabinet because DAP has lost confidence in PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, Lim Guan Eng said today.
The DAP secretary-general said for the PR leadership to work, there has to be consultation among all three member parties and Hadi had failed to do that when he went ahead to pursue hudud in Kelantan.
“I don’t think it can be possible at this moment, if you want to talk about any decision on portfolios, I think at the moment, it can only be done at the party level.
“At the Pakatan level, the PR leadership is no longer functioning after all the decision has been made months ago and that decisions still stand,” he told reporters at the soft launch of the Penang Institute office in KL at the Menara 1MK.
