Now let PAC do its job

“Uncalled for accusations that have yet to be proven and other accusations which will affect the investigation will eventually lead to its failure,” said the PAC chairman, Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed.
“I ask him and all other bloggers to stop with the accusations, remarks and not taint the 1MDB investigation,” added Nur Jazlan who was referring to the comment by Umno Blogger and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad loyalist, A. Kadir Jasin, who had prejudged and pre-empted what the PAC was going to do.
“In this investigation, PAC holds the right to call witnesses. Why is it that PAC members are now being doubted, questioned? How will we then carry out a transparent and meaningful investigation?”
“I ask that these accusations be stopped and we, in PAC, are not swayed by any party for political purposes.”
This is sound advise from PAC chairman Nur Jazlan who has asked that all parties, including bloggers, to not doubt the committee’s probe into 1MDB as this would be detrimental to the investigations.
Nur Jazlan has promised that the PAC probe was going to be wider and deeper than that done by the Auditor-General, as they would cover all aspects of the affairs of 1MDB including that of the fund’s auditors.
