Hadi: Choose the path of PAS or go DAP’s way

(The Star) – It is up to PAS members to choose their own leaders or to go with DAP’s wishes, when they make a choice during the upcoming PAS Muktamar.

President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang (pic) told Harakah Daily that members could decide whose opinions they want to believe, including those of its Pakatan Rakyat partner, DAP.

“If there are other parties like DAP with opinions on PAS, they are bound to tell us what they think, so it is up to PAS members to independently make a choice, to follow your own policies or to follow DAP,” he said.

When asked to comment on the two opposing factions within PAS, he said both sides had candidates, and one of them was DAP’s choice.

“There is no question on the ulamak, because both sides have ulamaks. The only difference is that one side has DAP’s support.

“I want to give a chance to PAS members – whether they want to choose our own rights, or the rights that DAP wants for us.

“There may be leaders in the party who are more agreeable with DAP and have common opinions with them,” he told Harakah Daily.
