CAGM: Dr M a compulsive liar, must take lie detector test
Group says people can only trust Mahathir Mohamad’s words if he passes a lie detector test.
(Free Malaysia Today) – The Citizens for Accountable Governance Malaysia (CAGM) has said that former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad was a compulsive liar who would only gain the trust of the people again if he passed a lie detector test.
In a statement today, its Chairman Md Zainal Abidin said, “CAGM has studied dozens of video footage on Dr Mahathir and concludes that he clearly exhibits the traits of a ‘compulsive liar’ when answering the media on sensitive and delicate questions.”
They said there was no point in him participating in a televised debate with Prime Minister Najib Razak unless he agreed to undergo a polygraph test, commonly known as a lie detector test.
“Only by undergoing a polygraph test and passing it can Dr. Mahathir make the public trust his words.”
