DAP puts an end to its own ‘game’, says PAS Youth
(The Rakyat Post) – PAS Youth has “blamed” DAP for sparking a conflict between the two parties after declaring Pakatan Rakyat (PR) has ceased to exist.
In a report published in RoketKini dated June 16, PAS Vice-Youth chief Khairil Nizam Khirudin (pic) chided DAP’s hasty decision that has impacted the coalition as a whole.
“This is likened to a game initiated by DAP to take advantage over several issues within PR and their incessant personal attacks against PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.
“DAP is not only offensive but also hasty in attacking PAS. They started the fiasco and subsequently, killed PR,” he said in his Facebook posting today.
Khairil added DAP has accused PAS of cooperating with Umno, despite deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man repeatedly assuring that it would not happen.
In the posting, he reiterated that the motion proposed at the ulama council was largely due to DAP’s action, which was too vocal in attacking PAS.
“PAS leaders had held a dialogue with DAP leaders to discuss the implementation of Syariah Criminal Code in Kelantan.
“The move (by PAS) proved that we have answered all the issues that were previously raised.
“Despite that, DAP continued to attack us consistently and intervened with our internal matter during the recent muktamar.
“DAP’s actions have gone overboard and that forced PAS ulama council to table an emergency motion to sever ties with DAP but stay in PR.”
Last week, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng alleged that PAS muktamar decision to sever ties with DAP has “killed off” the coalition.
Lim declared that the coalition — formed by three parties PKR, PAS and DAP has ceased to exist.
