Datuk Seri Najib is indeed starting to look like the Bugis warrior who is slaying all enemies of the country.

With disputes ongoing in both Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional, anxious Malaysians are puzzled as to who can continue to lead the country. The storm by Mahathir is slowly settling but a bigger hurricane has hit Pakatan. The MIC battle looks like child’s play compared to the Pakatan tug-of-war. In the midst of all the fighting, a resurgent Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak continuously reaffirms that he is the right man to take the country forward.

People may say that most of the scandals surrounding BN have not been solved but by the way Najib is moving I am positive all will end well. I cannot say the same for Pakatan because there is a massive gap in leadership there. Everybody wants to be captain and neither bighead listens to the other. Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail is such a weak leader that she has absolutely no ability to solve any matter. The biggest problem in Pakatan now is everybody is trying to pull the strings attached to Wan Azizah and the puppet has no idea which way to move.

Datuk Seri Najib is indeed starting to look like the Bugis warrior who is slaying all enemies of the country. In the past, when people questioned or ridiculed his leadership, the tongue-lashing was met with silence. That is no more the case today. Push a man to the edge of a cliff and see how he responds. Tun M is starting to realise that Najib is not like any of the people he has run over before. Najib tried being a professional gentleman by not washing dirty linen in public but Tun kept whipping Najib continuously. While defending himself, Najib also launched his own offence towards Dr M to remind him to look at the mirror in his house first before commenting on others.

As they say, offence is the best form of defence. The opposition is saying Najib is afraid because despite all allegations, no action has been taken against Mahathir. Well, I would like to say that Najib is no Mahathir. Tun M arrested everybody who uttered negativities about him and revoked licenses of media who dared to speak against him. Najib is more of a man than Mahathir. He can comfortably take the easy way out and get Mahathir arrested under POTA but that would mean he is just the same as Mahathir. Instead, he is allowing Mahathir to trash talk while he stands tall proving Mahathir wrong. Dr M has never been as ashamed as he was made to be during the issue surrounding Tan Sri Pandikar Amin’s supposed desire to resign as the speaker of Dewan Rakyat.

More recently, MIC’s de-facto leader Datuk Seri G. Palanivel also experienced the tiger’s roar first hand. Palanivel thought he could get away by blaming Najib for the MIC crisis. Instead, within a day Najib took to social media and summoned Palanivel to explain his statement in PWTC. This is exactly the type of leader we need. Someone who responds immediately and is never afraid of confrontations be it an individual from the opposition or BN coalition.

If there is any good Mahathir has done of late, he has given birth to a warrior, a Bugis warrior who is out guns blazing to save this country. We definitely love the new and improved Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak!
