(Bernama) – Parti Keadilan Rakyat says the Selangor government is continuing to be administered by the Pakatan Rakyat even though the DAP no longer uses the coalition name in Penang.

PKR vice-president Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin said the collaboration between PKR, DAP and PAS in Selangor was still continuing as usual.

He denied suggestions of splits between the three parties in Selangor, as was the case in Penang.

“Selangor will continue as a Pakatan Rakyat government because we (PAS, DAP and PKR) are still together in Selangor, we are still working together.

“So I want to say that there is no issue of the Selangor government ‘rocking’ because we are still a team,” he told reporters after the monthly meeting of the party’s central leadership council on Saturday.

On Thursday, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng reiterated that the Penang state government was no longer regarded as a Pakatan Rakyat government.
