PAS will not work with DAP again, info chief says
(MMO) – PAS will not re-enter into a formal political pact with DAP as it has had enough of the former ally’s attacks against its leadership, PAS information chief Nasrudin Hassan has said.
“For the time being, it is hard for us to repair ties with DAP. We do not want to fall into the same hole twice,” he was quoted by Sinar Harian as saying.
“For the record, DAP has left an opposition coalition twice: the first time during Barisan Alternatif and now Pakatan Rakyat,” the Temerloh MP stressed.
Nasrudin added that any cooperation with DAP for now on would strictly be an informal one that does not require official ties such as the pronouncement of “tahaluf siyasi” (political consensus) in the past.
