Rahman disputes Muhyiddin’s claims on 1MDB fact sheets
The minister says cabinet members could read the sheets at leisure and the information given was comprehensive.
(Free Malaysia Today) – Barisan Nasional strategist Abdul Rahman Dahlan has rejected an allegation by former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin that cabinet ministers were not given enough time to study the fact sheets on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) and that the information given was inadequate.
In a Facebook posting today, Rahman said the ministers were told they could read the fact sheets at their leisure.
“The 1MDB fact sheet mentioned by TSMY (Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin) during the press conference was not taken back from the ministers. All the cabinet ministers were allowed to bring back the fact sheets,” explained Rahman, who is also the Minister for Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government and MP for Kota Belud.
He disagreed with Muhyiddin that the fact sheets were not comprehensive enough, saying they “contained a lot of information regarding hot issues in 1MDB”.
