The coming Sarawak State Election: Repeating 2013 GE?
The only community that will vote against BN will be the Sarawak Chinese community, which is likely to be the case in the upcoming Sarawak elections.

A recent survey suggests that Adenan Satem, the new chief minister of Sarawak, is sitting pretty with a 74% approval rate among Sarawakians. If this is translated into votes, the Sarawak BN is heading for a landslide in the upcoming state polls widely expected to be held in the next 12 months. The results will be consistent with the voting pattern in the May 2013 general elections in Sarawak.
In this article, James Chin looks at the last GE in Sarawak and gives a detailed explanation why Sarawak BN can still dominate in Sarawak despite all the negative reports relating to Taib Mahmud, the previous chief minister and now Sarawak’s Governor, and the near total marginalisation of the indigenous people of Sarawak. Chin argues that the only community that will vote against BN will be the Sarawak Chinese community, which is likely to be the case in the upcoming Sarawak elections.
