NGOs lodge report against Raja Petra over two articles

(Bernama) – The Coalition of Pro-Barisan National Non-Governmental Organisations lodged a police report today against blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin over two of his articles which claimed there was a conspiracy to topple Najib Razak as Prime Minister.

President of the coalition, Zulkarnain Mahdar, said the two articles were published in the Malaysia Today portal.

The first article titled “Najib’s last day as PM was supposed to be 29 July” was published on August 8 and the second published on Sunday was titled “Is plan C still on or do we move to plan X?”

“The content of both articles mentioned a conspiracy to topple the prime minister and the government,” he told reporters after lodging the police report at the Kota Kinabalu district police headquarters here today.

Zulkarnian said the police should conduct a detailed investigation into the articles.

He said the coalition also urged the police to take action against Malaysia Today for publishing the articles.
