The Torture of Raja Petra Kamarudin
Perhaps CBNGO knows something that RPK knows but is too afraid that the information may be leaked to media and hence wants to bury RPK along with ‘Plan X’? Perhaps CBNGO is afraid that RPK may soon tell Malaysians what Plan X really is?
The Third Force
So the cats are out of the bag. And, as usual, it took a certain Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) to spill the beans on some intricate yet defective schemes to decimate Dato’ Seri Najib Razak’s term in office. If these schemes were foolproof, then surely RPK wouldn’t have known of Plans A, B, C and Plan X. So these schemes were most definitely defective, and RPK has proven once again that he truly is the all-hearing and all-seeing connoisseur of Malaysian politics.
You see, in politics, somebody always talks. Whistleblowers from among those who conspired against Najib began talking in terms of reciprocity and took the wraps off cloak and dagger pursuits to dislodge the Prime Minister from power. Had they not cooperated, we would most certainly have borne witness to more arrests.
Anyway, this is where I come in to tell you what some of you may already know and what many from UMNO and the opposition front may not know; that the plan is no longer to dislodge Najib from power. That plan was buried under a ton of legalities and technicalities, and not to mention a coup that fell flat on its face.
But I’ll tell you of the new plan in another article. For this article, let’s just focus on a plan to bury Raja Petra Kamarudin by the Confederates of the Fifth Column.
The ‘silent’ Najib has more or less pre-empted every attempt to subvert the institution of democracy by artifice. As a matter of fact, even the Inspector General of Police has not ruled out the possibility of there being a machination to truncate Najib’s term in office. The ‘silent’ Najib has delivered the same jolt to the Confederates of the Fifth Column (COFC) that the Americans delivered to the Japanese following the offensive on Pearl Harbour.
In other words, Najib sent Mahathir a message; don’t awaken a sleeping tiger, for it will snarl back at you with sharpened claws. And sharpen his claws he did, as Najib clawed into conspiracy after conspiracy, hot on the trail of the Confederates of the Fifth Column (COFC) that was out to depose him.
Cyber spheres were rife with speculation of an elaborate scheme by individuals from various statutory agencies to bury Najib. It is not immediately apparent if these individuals were directly associated with foreigners to subvert the government of Malaysia, or if they were being manipulated by intermediaries. But some of these individuals appear to be linked to the Malaysian Anti Corruption Agency (MACC), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Attorney General’s Chambers, one way or the other.
On the 13th of July 2015, the tone was set on conspiracy in an article that was published in Malaysia Today. There, mention was made of a conspiracy to posture Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin against Najib. As a matter of fact, the article spoke of a possible attempt by Mahathir and his cohorts to subvert the government of Malaysia and by extension, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Then, on the same day and some hours later, the Inspector General of Police made a sweeping statement along the lines of subversion, acknowledging the possibility of a conspiracy to topple the Prime Minister. He bordered his concerns on national security while criminalising the leak of classified documents to foreign nationals.
By foreign nationals, the IGP may have been implying Xavier Andre Justo of Petro Saudi and Clare Rewcastle Brown of Sarawak Report, both of whom were fingered as confederates in a plot to topple Najib. The IGP could also have been implying persons or groups close to Justo, Clare, or Dow Jones & Company Incorporated (publishers of the Wall Street Journal).
According to Khalid, the (now retired) Attorney General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail had instructed a full investigation into the leak, which some quarters are now convinced sets a trail to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), the Malaysian Anti Corruption Agency (MACC) and a Special Task Force the Attorney General himself had founded.
Ironically, Gani had established the Special Task Force even before the Wall Street Journal got its bull to run the shit on Najib over the alleged siphoning of 1MDB related funds into the latter’s personal accounts. Yet he’s been turned into an overnight celebrity by blogging circles and the Bar Council President, who appears to see red over Gani’s dismissal.
And while Muhyiddin went about paying Najib his disrespects, he didn’t have the balls to question the constitutionality of a Task Force Gani had founded in lightning speed and without Cabinet approval. Rather, Muhyiddin affirmed his support for the Task Force in a statement he made out to the Cheras UMNO division on the 26th of July 2015.
Now, doesn’t that make Muhyiddin as culpable as Gani of subverting the Federal Constitution of Malaysia? He misled UMNO and the people of Malaysia into thinking that the task force was a constitutional affair. Did he not fail to stand by his boss at a time when the confederate (COFC) was seen scribbling Najib’s obituary on the political walk of fame?
It amused me when the Coalition of Pro-Barisan National Non-Governmental Organisations (let’s just call these fellows CBNGO, shall we?) lodged a police report against RPK on the 11th of August, 2015. For the record, CBNGO took Petra to task over two articles that alleged some conspiracies to topple Najib.
It amuses me how it didn’t occur to CBNGO to lodge a report against Najib as well. You see, both Najib and the IGP have more or less implied a possible conspiracy to subvert the Government of Malaysia. Did it CBNGO miss out on this contrivance, or were they just plain ignorant? Sleeping, perhaps?
Did CBNGO forget to lodge a police report against Gani? Were they not aware that Gani had initiated a Special Task Force without Cabinet approval? Did they not know that such an act is treasonous against the Federal Constitution of Malaysia? And where’s Steven Thiru when we need him? Did the Bar Council President not know that Gani had subverted the Federal Constitution of Malaysia?
Did CBNGO also forget to lodge a report against Dow Jones & Company Incorporated, publishers of the Wall Street Journal, which imputed blame to Najib over the alleged transfers of some USD 700 million into his personal accounts? Is CBNGO not aware that Najib is constitutionally permitted to hold funds of such proportions in trust for UMNO? Is CBNGO not concerned that the Journal had misled the people of Malaysia by omitting this fact from their reports?
Did it not occur to CBNGO that the leak of confidential documents pertaining to the transfers of funds into Najib’s bank accounts could only have originated from BNM or third party sources that were initiated into scrutinising BNM documents under terms of confidentiality? Does a possible attempt to subvert the Banking system not reek of a threat to National Security? Do you guys from CBNGO ever worry about National Security?
Come to think of it, why didn’t CBNGO lodge a police against former Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin? Isn’t it ironical how Muhyiddin shirked from making known his position on BNM or its governor, Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz, in the same flavour with which he phrased his disrespects to the Prime Minister over 1MDB?
A man of Muhyiddin’s rank would surely have known how transactions of anomalous proportions trigger alarm bells at BNM, or for that matter, any bank through which such transactions take place. As a matter of fact, Muhyiddin knew well in advance that a sum exceeding USD 700 million was never really deposited into Najib’s personal accounts, but into accounts the Prime Minister constitutionally held in trust, on behalf of UMNO.
And while I’m at it, who does CBNGO support? Barisan Nasional? Mahathir? Najib? These days, it is not enough to simply declare oneself as ‘pro BN’ and make sweeping statements or reports against anyone, including RPK. Today, we really need to sniff out who is who, i.e., if you’re pro-Najib or pro-Mahathir.
Why torture RPK all the way in Manchester, United Kingdom? Perhaps CBNGO knows that Mahathir had sought RPK’s patronage in a conspiracy to oust Najib? Perhaps CBNGO knows something that RPK knows but is too afraid that the information may be leaked to media and hence want to bury RPK along with ‘Plan X’? Perhaps CBNGO is afraid that RPK may soon tell Malaysians what Plan X really is?
And just who exactly are the Confederates of the Fifth Column?
