DAP leader quits party to join Pas Congress
(NST) – Former Bercham assemblyman from DAP, Sum Cheok Leng, today announced his resignation from the party as he had joined Pas Supporters Congress.
Sum, 65, handed over his membership form to Perak Pas commissioner Razman Zakaria at the state Pas headquarters here today.
Sum said he made the decision as he wanted to use the congress as a new platform to serve the people.
“I’ve already tendered my resignation from DAP and the letter was sent by post yesterday,” he said after handing over the form to Razman.
