Zahid: Umno man behind ouster plot will meet Najib today

(Malay Mail Online) – Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said today that the Umno leader he had hinted to be allegedly leading a plot to topple the government will be meeting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in a few hours’ time.

In his opening address at the Tampin Umno division meeting here, the Umno vice-president said that the meeting between the Umno leader whom he has refused to name and Najib would take place at 6pm today.

Zahid did not disclose the venue of the meeting.

“I don’t want to say who is the leader involved. I did not mention names yesterday and I won’t today too.

“But there are people denying it… keep denying..

“Insyaallah he has already realised and that Umno member will meet our Umno president at 6pm today,” he said.

His revelation was met with pin drop silence from the delegates.
