(The Rakyat Post) – PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali says he is prepared to work with Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) Members of Parliament in a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

He even invited the leaders to join him and other Malaysians at the Bersih 4.0 rally this weekend.

“I invite Umno and BN leaders to have the courage of conviction to save the country and economy.

“Under the current leadership, the country is in bad shape. That’s why I invite Umno and BN MPs to bring about change,” he told reporters

Mohamed Azmin added that the opposition already had 88 MPs and only needed another 33.

“So hopefully before the end of the year we will see change,” he said after a signing ceremony at the state secretariat building, here.

When asked whether the release of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would be a condition in allowing the cooperation to take place, the Selangor Menteri Besar said the incarcerated former Opposition leader was a factor and “must be on the agenda”.

Speaking on his participation at the Bersih 4.0 rally this weekend, Mohamed Azmin said he also encouraged citizens to be present in rising against the issues faced by Malaysia including economic issues.

“We want the country to be led by leaders who are honest and responsible. This is our right according to the Federal Constitution.

“This will also be a peaceful assembly for the sake of the country,” he said.
