(The Rakyat Post) – Bersih 4.0 is bigger than one mere political  agenda, said a Facebook user who has come out warning political leaders from using the platform to achieve their own objective.

Activist Siti Kasim posted a status update yesterday, saying that she had received a list of politicians who will be joining the Bersih 4.0 gathering today and she claimed that all of them are from PKR and its strong supporters.

“I have received a list of people who allegedly in charge in all the points for the gathering.

“I am sorry but I do not agree with these people meddling into #Bersih organisation.”

In a list circulated last night, the four assembly point for the 2pm gathering will see familiar faces such as PKR’s president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, PKR’s vice-presidents Nurul Izzah Anwar, Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, and Rafizi Ramli, among many others.

PKR Youth chief Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad had earlier this week, “hijacked” the Bersih 4 platform by adding one extra demand which was to call for the release of former opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“If they want their own agenda, do it in your own time. Not during this time.

“We have a bigger picture besides their own political agenda.

“Stay away all politicians! You can join the rally but don’t hijack it for your own purpose,” wrote Siti who is also an active Orang Asli activist.

Bersih 4.0 rally will start from 2pm today to 11.59pm tomorrow at the areas surrounding Dataran Merdeka. It will also be held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and Kuching, Sarawak as well as major cities worldwide.

Its demands this time around are for clean elections, corrupt-free government, and the right to protest, strengthening parliamentary democracy and saving the economy.
