Rafizi: Opposition MPs to table vote of no confidence against PM in October
(Malay Mail Online) – Opposition lawmakers will be tabling a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in the next Parliament sitting in October, PKR’s Rafizi Ramli said at the Bersih 4 rally here today.
The Pandan MP said as the people were fed up and unhappy with Najib’s leadership, the opposition had made it their duty to put forth the motion, .
“When Parliament starts in October, the Opposition MPs and I will put forth a motion of no confidence on Najib,” Rafizi said during his speech at the Bersih 4 rally today.
There has been talk that the opposition and even an Umno leader have been in cahoots to obtain a Statutory Declaration (SD) so that they can get support from Barisan Nasional MPs to have a vote of no confidence against Najib.
The Bersih 4 rally organised by polls reform group Bersih 2.0 saw tens of thousands flooding the city centre here, as well as thousands in rallies in Kuching, Sarawak, and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
