Ummi Hafilda wants God to decide Najib’s guilt
So, first of all, Ummi Hafilda must ask those who are accusing Najib to come forward and either reveal their evidence or produce four witnesses and if they can’t then they take that sumpah laknat. Once that is done it will be Najib’s turn to do the same.
NO HOLDS BARRED

I have read news reports and articles over the last few days asking the federal government to give more autonomy to Sabah and Sarawak. Some say the federal government should respect the 18/20 Point Agreements. Others say the Merdeka Agreement is not really valid in the first place.
That is all well and fine and I, for one, would have no arguments with that. However, for the sake of clarity, can these people be more specific? I mean which of the Articles of the 18/20 Point Agreements are being violated and in what way are they being violated? Furthermore, what type of autonomy are we talking about?
As they say, the devil is in the details. So details, please!
For example, Sabah and Sarawak already have the (autonomous) authority to bar people from entering their states. And they use this authority very frequently to do just that. But then many people complain when Sabah and Sarawak bar people from trying to enter their states or expels those who do enter.
If Sabah and Sarawak have this (autonomous) authority to bar people from entering their states then their decision should be respected. While we say Sabah and Sarawak are being denied their autonomy and should be given more autonomy, when they do exercise their (autonomous) authority we complain.
We demand they give us an explanation and we threaten to challenge their decision in court and so on. Under the spirit of autonomy, they make the decision as to who can and cannot enter their state and they need not explain why.
I have the autonomy to decide and I decide however I wish and I do not need to explain why I make that decision. That, basically, is what being autonomous is all about. So why complain?
The infamous Ummi Hafilda Ali, sister to Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali who once said she dares say she is still a virgin, has challenged Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak to take an oath to swear (called sumpah laknat) that he is not guilty of all those allegations against him (mainly related to 1MDB and the RM2.6 billion).
Basically, Ummi is referring to chapter 24 of the Qur’an, the Chapter of the Light, where you swear you are innocent of the crime you are alleged to have committed and you invite God’s wrath (laknat) in the event you are making a false oath.
In short, once you swear such an oath then the matter ends there. The authorities no longer take action or pursue the matter. The matter is now in God’s hands and if you have lied then it is up to God to punish you.
However, before the accused is invited to take that oath, the accuser must first take the same oath. The accuser swears in the name of God that the allegations are true and that if it is a lie then the accuser also invites the wrath of God for this false oath.
Maybe I can make this clearer.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad accuses Najib of stealing money from 1MDB. Mahathir must produce the evidence or at least four witnesses to back up this claim. If Dr Mahathir does not have the evidence or four witnesses, then he takes an oath that the allegation is true and that if it is not true he invites the wrath of God.
Najib then produces the evidence or four witnesses to prove he is not guilty and if he cannot do that then he takes the oath and invites God’s wrath in the event he is lying. That is the sumpah laknat Ummi Hafilda was talking about.
Because both the accuser and the accused have sworn this oath and have invited God’s wrath in the event they are lying, the matter is now left to God to deal with and no further action from man is required. Both go home and wait for God to take action.
So, first of all, Ummi Hafilda must ask those who are accusing Najib to come forward and either reveal their evidence or produce four witnesses and if they can’t then they take that sumpah laknat. Once that is done it will be Najib’s turn to do the same.
The beautiful part about this whole thing is both parties will leave it to God to make the next move.
This is what Ummi Hafilda Ali means. And this is why many feel that Anwar Ibrahim is guilty of the allegation that he sodomised Saiful Bukhari Azlan. Saiful took the oath but Anwar refused to do so. Hence Saiful’s allegation would be considered true since he took that oath while Anwar just denied it without also taking the oath — which means he is guilty.
