RoS recognises Parti Amanah Negara

(The Star) – Parti Amanah Negara (PAN) has been officially recognised by the Registrar of Societies, said party president Mohamad Sabu.

Mohamad, better known as Mat Sabu, told a press conference today in Komtar that the RoS has approved the application to rename Parti Pekerja Malaysia to PAN.

“We’ve just received he good news today. Therefore, it is now official that PAN is an official party,” said Mohamad Sabu.

He added that he was also confident that the RoS will also approve PAN’s application to replace the title “chairman” with that of “president”.
