The Pakatan Pro-Barisan Nasional (BN) Sabah believes that the reported attempts may cause chaos within the present government.

(Free Malaysia Today) – Pakatan Pro-Barisan Nasional (BN) Sabah, President Zulkarnain Mahdar, claims that various parties are attempting to buy up MPs as part of former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s efforts to encourage a no confidence motion in Parliament against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

“This is an attempt to topple the Government of Malaysia.”

He likened this to a conspiracy to oust Najib from office and added that “as pro-BN activists, we cannot allow this to happen”.

“We understand that there may be an attempt to initiate a vote of no confidence soon against the Prime Minister in Parliament. We have received information that various parties are trying to buy over several MPs to go against Najib and the current government.”

Zulkarnain wants police to investigate the claims which he apparently gathered from his sources. He was disclosing that he had made a second police report against Mahathir on Thursday at the Karamunsing Police Headquarters.

“We hope that the police would investigate the claims as the reported attempts may cause chaos within the present government.”

“The police report was to urge the authorities concerned to speed up their investigations into reported attempts by Mahathir to topple the Prime Minister in the wake of a statement by him and several veteran BN leaders urging Najib to resign,” said the head of the BN-friendly NGO.

“Mahathir’s recent visit to Tawau shows that he’s serious about removing Najib over the 1MDB and other issues. Najib himself called for a speedy investigation of the 1MDB issue.”
