Jho Low in contact with MACC since August, don’t politicise

Jho Low

(The Rakyat Post) – A spokesperson for Low Taek Jho has confirmed that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had asked for the businessman’s help in August this year.

“Mr Low’s representatives immediately contacted the MACC to see how they can be of assistance, and continue to be in contact,” the spokesperson said in a brief statement today.

The statement said that speculation that assistance is somehow needed to find or contact Low, or Jho Low as he is more commonly known as, was baseless and being politicised by certain irresponsible individuals whom may not be aware of the full facts.‎

This comes after Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed today said that police were not roped in to locate several individuals with regards to investigations into 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) as there was no need to do so given their willingness to assist.‎

A government source said that: “Jho Low is already in touch with Malaysian authorities to render any help required. Unfortunately, some irresponsible parties try to politicise the facts to say he is avoiding, and sensationalising it.”‎
