1,083 PAS members to relinquish JKKK positions

(The Star) – The 1083 PAS members of state Village Security Development Committees (JKKK) have been ordered to give up their memberships with immediate effect, said State PAS commissioner Muhammad Fauzi Yusof.

Muhammad Fauzi said the decision was made due to after irreconcilable with the DAP-led state government.

“We have met with the PAS members involved in the JKKKs in the state, and they agreed that they should resign,” said Muhammad Fauzi at told a press conference at the state party’s headquarters in Pongsu Seribu here

He said that all PAS JKKK members were being advised to relinquish their memberships from their respective committees with immediate effect.

“Official letters will be sent to them to inform them on the matter. However, we will continue to service the people through our respective PAS service centres,” said Muhammad Fauzi.
