Kuala Kangsar PAS ‘no’ to working with ‘two-timing’ PKR
Kuala Kangsar PAS claims PKR’s indecisiveness is hampering their electoral preparations
(Free Malaysia Today) – PAS Kuala Kangsar has given “two-timing” PKR an ultimatum; choose between the Islamist party or Pakatan Harapan (PH).
In a statement issued Wednesday, its chairman Raja Iskandar Al-Hiss, said the PAS division had declared their support of Perak PAS commissioner Razman Zakaria, who had earlier urged PKR to state its stand on its political alliances.
“PKR has to choose whether to stand with PAS or PH, as PAS will not work with PH at any level, in line with the party’s directive,” he said, adding that PKR’s two-timing nature had already compromised the Islamist party’s efforts for the upcoming general election.
PAS members, Raja Iskandar said, were now confused over their direction and workflow, especially in constituencies contested by PKR.
He reminded PKR that PAS had always been magnanimous towards them, despite their past transgressions against the Islamist party.
“Among PKR’s actions that did not go down well with us were the Selangor MB crisis and the Kajang Move, as well as their poaching of several of our leaders such as Kamaruddin Jaafar and Mohd Muhammad Taib.”
