Zahid: Muhyiddin was at PWTC last night but skipped Najib’s briefing

(Malay Mail Online) – Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi revealed today that Umno deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) last night but did not attend the briefing by party president Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Ahmad Zahid added that Muhyiddin did not inform the party of his reasons for skipping the briefing.

“From the information we got, he was at PWTC but did not appear at the meeting yesterday,” he told reporters at a press conference today.

“What we know from the secretary-general is that there is no reply or reason from him (Muhyiddin) on why he didn’t appear,” Ahmad Zahid said.
