Ku Nan: Muhyiddin’s case now with Umno disciplinary panel
(Malay Mail Online) – Findings from an investigation on Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin over a speech critical of the leadership has been submitted to the Umno disciplinary board, secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said today.
Tengku Adnan, or better known as Ku Nan, declined to divulge details of the investigation.
“I have already sent. The investigation paper has been made, so we wait for a while la,” he told reporters when met outside the Dewan Merdeka at the Putra World Trade Centre here today.
The Putrajaya MP was asked if Muhyiddin’s case has been referred to the disciplinary panel for further action after Deputy Prime Minister and Umno vice president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi directed questions to Tengku Adnan yesterday.
Tengku Adnan previously said Muhyiddin’s speech during the “Bersama Timbalan Presiden Umno” gathering on Monday night at Kelab Sultan Sulaiman will be scrutinised by a special Umno committee.
He said Muhyiddin may have gone overboard in his speech attacking party president Datuk Seri Najib Razak and could be stripped of his deputy presidency as punishment.
