Hishammuddin: Dr M will raise issues till the end of time
Defence minister says Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s continuous attack on the Prime Minister will only result in party members rejecting him.
(Free Malaysia Today) – Dr Mahathir Mohamed will raise issues till “the end of the world” and there will never be enough time to answer it, Hishamuddin Hussein said.
“And when we give answers, he brings up another issue. It is hard to address this,” the Defence Minister told reporters during the Perhebat convocation ceremony.
Mahathir has been directing a barrage of attacks against Prime Minister Najib Razak, in an attempt to oust him as the country’s leader and Umno President.
Hishamuddin, who is also Umno vice-president, said there would never be an end to the spat if the former premier were to carry on with his attacks.
“Don’t we have other matters to address instead of answering questions that have been answered previously?”
Hishamuddin cautioned that continuous efforts to divide the party will only cause party members to reject such factions.
