Syed Ali, are you in Vincent Tan’s pocket?

Well, see what he said (below), which was posted on the Umno Cheras website. And does he still dare say he is not subtly trying to undermine the Prime Minister? And did he not host ex-Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin so that Umno Cheras could be used as the platform to whack Najib?

“Delusional, Umno man raps Raja Petra over ‘Anti-Najib Club’ charge,” screamed Malaysiakini’s headlines (READ HERE).

So, Syed Ali Alhabshee is not working with the ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign) to try to oust Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, is it? And he is not part of the group of tycoons who have got together to set up a RM2 billion war chest to finance the campaign to oust Najib, is it?

Syed Ali is a party man. His mission and vision is to help further the Malay cause. He is loyal to all Umno leaders without exception. He is not in any way aligned to Vincent Tan or any other Chinese tycoon who are financing the ANC.

What Syed Ali said and did can only be interpreted as an attempt to drive a few nails into Najib’s coffin, a coffin that Muhyiddin had laid out with the help of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Syed Ali’s Ketua Wanita, Zurainah Musa, is an Executive Director of Berjaya Corporation Berhad, Vincent Tan’s company.

Syed Ali himself is the Chairman of, and holds a substantial interest in, another Vincent Tan company, Redtone International Berhad. So tell us again, Syed Ali, you have nothing to do with the ANC? And you are not secretly and subtly working with Muhyiddin to try to oust Najib?

It is with deep sadness that I read news reports about how prime minister YAB DS Najib Razak has not heeded his deputy’s call to axe the entire 1Malaysia Development Board and get a police investigation going.

I completely support YAB TS Muhyiddin Yassin as I too believe this is the only action that would convince Malaysians that the government is serious.

For now YAB DS Najib is caught right in the middle of this financial mess amounting to alleged misappropriation of billions of dollars.

There is not a day that goes by without someone, be it an Opposition leader or the general public, registering their displeasure and anger against the prime minister.

As such YAB DS Najib has to immediately order that the entire board of the sovereign fund is sacked without any delay and then moot police investigations against them.

I have been voicing the same opinion as YAB TS Muhyiddin’s over the past few weeks.

In addition to the board members, flamboyant businessman Low Taek Jho, popularly known as Jho Low, must also be investigated immediately by the police.

Despite his denials, Jho Low’s fingerprints are all over the 1MDB, with proven paper trail showing movement of money into a company owned by him.

As mentioned earlier, there is a growing call for transparency and accountability by Malaysians to open up 1MDB’s books.

And therefore we hope the prime minister will act fast to settle this issue once and for all.
