There is an explosion in the MACC
Bahri and Abu Kassim almost came to blows today and the talk in the MACC headquarters is that an open and bitter war has broken out. Bahri has threatened to expose Abu Kassim and all the other officers in the MACC in what he alleged are corrupt acts and wrongdoings. If they take action against him then everyone was going to end up in jail, Bahri warned.

The RM2.6 billion issue has triggered more than just an internal power struggle within Umno. It has also triggered an internal power struggle within the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
MACC’s Chief Commissioner, Abu Kassim Mohamed, wants to take disciplinary action against the Director for Special Operations, Bahri Mohamad Zin, for serious breaches of ethics and protocol. Furthermore, Bahri’s second wife is facing financial problems and there are suspicions that he is on the take because of it, which means he is seriously compromised.

Amongst some of those crimes, said Bahri, were the murders of Teoh Beng Hock and Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed. Bahri alleged that not only were they murdered but also that there was a cover-up that reaches the highest echelons of the MACC.
Probably finally Malaysians are going to know the truth regarding the murders of Teoh Beng Hock and Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed. And if Bahri really sings like a canary then many more Tan Sri, Datuk Seri, Datuk, and so on, are going to join Anwar Ibrahim in the hospital wing of the Sungai Buloh Prison.
Bahri has also promised to bring down the Umno-led Barisan Nasional government. “Biar mampus Melayu. Lagi baik bagi Cina ambil alih kerajaan,” Bahri shouted at a most flabbergasted Abu Kassim.
Bahri was suspected of being a DAP mole and today he confirmed it with his outburst. How Bahri was going to bring down the Umno-led Barisan Nasional government was not made clear but it is suspected he would do that by ‘leaking’ certain files like he did with the 1MDB and RM2.6 billion issues.
Whether what Bahri intends to ‘leak’ is genuine or fabricated is not really important as the 1MDB and RM2.6 billion issues have proven. Most gullible Malaysians who would even believe that fungus on a church window is the image of Jesus Christ or the inside of a fruit says ‘Allah’ would believe anything that is ‘leaked’ from the MACC as being genuine and not fabricated.
Anyway, if now Abu Kassim does not take disciplinary action against Bahri then it would mean Bahri’s blackmail has worked. And it would also mean that Bahri’s allegation against his boss and his fellow officers in MACC are true.
If Abu Kassim does not dare touch Bahri would that mean every single officer in MACC is corrupted, as Bahri alleged? And would this also mean that Teoh Beng Hock and Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed were murdered and that there was a cover-up extending to the highest echelons of the MACC, as Bahri alleged?
Yes, a most interesting development indeed. This is what we would call a Mexican standoff. If Abu Kassim does nothing then the allegation that Bahri made is true. So will Abu Kassim back down and prove Bahri true or will he call Bahri’s bluff and go for the jugular?
