If Najib must resign then Dr Mahathir must be jailed

In fact, Najib can even ask that Dr Mahathir be arrested and charged for criminal defamation. What Dr Mahathir said (SEE BELOW) is an act of criminal defamation and he can be arrested and charged for that. Yet Najib allows him to get away with it.

I first heard of 3M in the 1970s when I started working — which was an American company that was founded in 1902 as the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company.

Later, in the 1980s, 3M stood for the new education system that Malaysia introduced — membaca, menulis dan mengira. The joke then, however, was that 3M stood for Mahathir, Musa and Murad.

In 1985 — when Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was the Prime Minister and Tun Musa Hitam the Deputy Prime Minister — Tan Sri Murad Mohd Noor was appointed the Director-General of the Ministry of Education. And it was Murad who introduced the idea of 3M into Malaysia’s education system.

Today, 3M means Mahathir, Muhyiddin and Mukhriz, the three warlords who Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak neutralised and made an example of — so that no other Umno warlord would dare look Najib in the eye and not blink first.

Anyway, why is it of all companies I remember 3M above the rest? Simple, really, because what I learned from 3M is that if you want to succeed in a sale then you must approach and sell to the MAN.

MAN is the acronym for Means, Authority and Need. In other words, (1) they must have the budget or funds to buy that product or service, (2) they must have the authority or power to make that decision to buy, and (3) they must have the need or requirement for such a product or service. Unless all three are present then you would not be able to make that sale.

So, if you want to succeed then you must tackle the MAN. And, currently, Najib appears to be that MAN — the person with the Means to face you (basically he owns the political machinery), the Authority to do what he wants to do (basically he has the power to call the shots) and the Need to do what he has to do (basically you have given him no choice but to defend himself because if he does not then you are going to kill him).

But then there are those who are grumbling. They feel Najib is not playing fair. Hello, brader and sista, have you not heard the saying ‘everything is fair in love and war’? When you throw everything including the kitchen sink at Najib what do you expect? You kick, bite, tug your opponent’s hair, and poke his eyes, and then you demand The Queensbury Rules?

You must be real silly to think that way. And Dr Mahathir of all people should know because he has treated his opponents in exactly the same way or worse. At least Najib did not detain Mukhriz under ISA and handcuffed and blindfolded him and beat him up and left him unconscious on the lockup floor without medical attention.

(Malaysiakini) – Former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad is doubtful that attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali will meaningfully cooperate with the Swiss Attorney-General’s Office in its probe on 1MDB.

Mahathir said this was because Apandi in his current post was at the behest of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak whom he recently cleared of any wrongdoing in two other cases.

1MDB is also Najib’s brainchild with the PM and finance minister acting as chairperson of the board of advisors for the state investment fund.

“The current AG, with whom the Swiss AG seeks cooperation with, was appointed by the PM through false representation made to the king. This means the AG owes his position to the PM.”

“Can he be expected to charge the person to whom he owes his position? Knowing his predecessor was dismissed for trying to do the same, the new AG is not likely to prefer a charge against the PM,” Mahathir said on his blog today.

In fact, the government could even arrest and charge Dr Mahathir for sedition. So there are two laws that they can use against Dr Mahathir. And the fact that Dr Mahathir is still walking free is not because the government or the Prime Minister is scared of him. If not Mukhriz would not have been given such an undignified send-off.

I receive quite a number of such comments about all they want is the truth. I find that Chinese (maybe because they are DAP supporters) are fond of such comments (not that Malays, Indians and ‘others’ do not also sometimes say that). What these people do not explain is what they actually mean by ‘truth’.

What they fail to understand is that truth is not absolute but is subjective. So that would mean there would be different interpretations of ‘truth’. And what is ‘truth’ to one may be propaganda or lies to another. So who are you to decide what is true and what is not?

But then to people like Chan Kok Keong and those of his ilk, truth is what he believes to be the truth. Anything that contradicts what he believes to be the truth is a lie. That is basically their very narrow definition of truth.

To Muslims the truth is one thing while to Christians it is another. So for more than 1,000 years Muslims and Christians have been killing each other by the millions because of different interpretations of truth. And both sides say they are right and that the other side is wrong. So there are two different and opposing ‘truths’ involved here.

The minute someone tells me that all they want is the truth my mind is immediately made up that these people are idiots. I even have some who tell me that they no longer read what I write. What they do not understand is that I view these people as idiots and I am not too unhappy that idiots like them do not read what I write. Why should I be excited about being loved by idiots or be upset about idiots hating me?

So, if you are an idiot and you do not read what I write then you are doing me a favour. I would hate to go down in history as an idol to a whole bunch of idiots. I would rather 1,000 intellectuals read what I write than one million idiots who do not even understand what I am saying in the first place.

So, the opposition says that Najib, Razak Baginda and Altantuya Shaariibuu had dinner together on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (and Tian Chua’s doctored photograph is proof of this). The French police investigation, however, proved that Altantuya never stepped foot in France at any time and neither did Najib during that period he was supposed to have had dinner with Altantuya.
