Can Ariff Sabri tell us what Mahathir did with Umno’s RM100 billion?

Can Ariff tell us whether Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary, Francis Yeoh, Vincent Tan, Ananda Krishnan, AP Aramugam, G. Gnanalingam, Lee Kim Yew, and so on, are proxies for Umno or are they actually proxies for Dr Mahathir — who is using Umno as a front to accumulate RM100 billion (which some say may be even RM200 billion)?

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Mohd Ariff Sabri Abdul Aziz of DAP and ex-Umno leader is either very stupid or he thinks he is very clever and can easily con Malaysians. What he said today (SEE BELOW) is a whole load of bull and he knows that very well. It is just that he thinks we do not know it as well.

“For example, the RM2.6 billion controversy remains unresolved. It seems that Malays lack noble values and are not honourable,” said Ariff without explaining further what he means.

In what way has it not been resolved? Can he explain? Does he mean it has not been resolved because the Attorney General has not said that Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak stole the money from 1MDB — and until that happens then the matter has to be assumed as not resolved?

So, to Ariff, the matter of the RM2.6 billion getting resolved will only happen if the Attorney General accuses the Prime Minister of stealing that money. As long as the Attorney General does not accuse the Prime Minister of stealing that money then the matter is not resolved yet.

And if the RM2.6 billion remains unresolved this would mean Malays lack noble values and are not honourable, said Ariff. How is it if the RM2.6 billion matter remains unresolved that would translate to Malays lacking noble values and not being honourable? I just do not get the logic of that argument.

Ariff also wonders what will become of the Malays considering that they have a Prime Minister who faces 1,001 allegations of corruption and yet they go along with attempts to humiliate a former Prime Minister who administered the nation for 22 years.

First of all, it is not 1,001 allegations. If there are 1,001 allegations can Ariff please list them down, all 1,001 of them?

Secondly, are all those allegations true or have they been fabricated? Just because there are allegations does not make them true. Anwar Ibrahim was accused of smuggling RM3 billion in cash overseas in RM1,000 and RM500 notes. And it was alleged that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad abolished the RM1,000 and RM500 notes to block Anwar from bringing the money back.

This was a secret that was revealed by Anwar’s own people — such as Lokman Noor Adam and Ezam Mohd Nor — back in 1999. And they added that the reason Bank Negara was asked to abolish the RM1,000 and RM500 notes was to block Anwar from bringing the money back. And they said this was Dr Mahathir’s way of crippling Anwar financially and to block the RM3 billion from being used to make Anwar the Prime Minister.

Yes, that was the allegation made back in 1998 and I believe it 100%. So, as far as I am concerned, this matter still remains unresolved. Can either Anwar or Dr Mahathir or both give us the evidence to prove that this allegation is not true? And until they can prove that this allegation is not true then we must assume it is true.

And this will bring us to the next question. Where did Anwar get the RM3 billion? And was this the reason why Dr Mahathir sacked the then Bank Negara Governor, Ahmad Mohd Don, in 1998? Was it because Bank Negara was involved in helping Anwar smuggle that RM3 billion out of Malaysia? And was it because Dr Mahathir knew that Bank Negara collaborated with Anwar to help smuggle out that RM3 billion?

Which then brings us to the next question. If Bank Negara helped Anwar take RM3 billion out of Malaysia can it not also help Najib bring RM2.6 billion into Malaysia? So is the story that Bank Negara was in the know about Najib bringing RM2.6 billion into Malaysia and that it was Bank Negara that had suggested that the money be put into Najib’s personal bank account true then after all?

Over to you, Ariff! Maybe you want to comment on this as well.

It has been alleged that Tun Daim Zainuddin stole RM60 billion of Umno’s money and used it to set up a number of banks overseas. It was further alleged that Dr Mahathir is still holding on to RM100 billion of Umno’s assets and cash and refuses to return it to Umno. And it is said that this is what first triggered the conflict between Dr Mahathir and Najib — when Najib tried to get back that RM100 billion soon after he became Prime Minister in 2009.

It was further said that Najib had to seek financial help from the Arabs because Dr Mahathir refused to hand back Umno’s RM100 billion — and the reason Dr Mahathir did that was to force Najib to crawl on his hands and knees and kowtow to him. However, instead of doing that, Najib went elsewhere for the money and this angered Dr Mahathir who then started making false allegations that the money was stolen from 1MDB.

Yes, if Ariff wants to play the 1,001 allegations game then we can probably increase it to 1,002 allegations that have been made against Dr Mahathir. And Dr Mahathir has so far never sworn on the Qur’an that he is not guilty of those 1,002 allegations or given any evidence to prove he is innocent.

So, as far as we are concerned, all these matters remained unresolved just like how Ariff regards the RM2.6 billion matter as remaining unresolved as well.

Ariff wonders what will become of the Malays considering that they have a Prime Minister who faces 1,001 allegations of corruption and yet they go along with attempts to humiliate a former Prime Minister who administered the nation for 22 years.

Is that what Ariff thinks is happening here? Then he is even more stupid than he looks. Can Ariff explain how the three sons of his new boss, Dr Mahathir, could become billionaires and multimillionaires in just three years after their father retired as Prime Minister?

Can Ariff tell us whether Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary, Francis Yeoh, Vincent Tan, Ananda Krishnan, AP Aramugam, G. Gnanalingam, Lee Kim Yew, and so on, are proxies for Umno or are they actually proxies for Dr Mahathir — who is using Umno as a front to accumulate RM100 billion (which some say may be even RM200 billion)?

Dr Mahathir said that MACC should investigate those who lead lavish and luxurious lifestyles without being able to explain where their money came from. Would not then Dr Mahathir’s family be the first to be subjected to this investigation? Does Ariff have anything to say about this?

And what about all those shady projects that were personally approved by Dr Mahathir and which eventually all needed government bailout? Why does Ariff not talk about these as well when he talks about Dr Mahathir’s 22 years as Prime Minister?

And it is an open secret that Dr Mahathir got the Special Branch to investigate all his Ministers plus the key people in government and then he personally holds on to these files to be used later whenever he needed to blackmail them. This was what Dr Mahathir did when he was Prime Minister for 22 years — but why does Ariff refuse to talk about this when he knows about it very well?

No one dared go against Dr Mahathir. Even Anwar Ibrahim suffered for going against Dr Mahathir. Do you think Dr Mahathir did not know about Anwar’s sexual misconduct? Of course he knew. He had an extremely thick file on Anwar complete with photographs.

But for years Dr Mahathir did nothing. He allowed Anwar to continue with his sexual activities while slowly making the thick file even thicker. And when Anwar blocked Petronas from giving his son RM2 billion, Dr Mahathir brought out that thick file and nailed Anwar for sodomy.

And Ariff, of all people, know this because he was one of those who were in the pro-Mahathir/anti-Anwar group (and now he is in the pro-Mahathir/pro-Anwar group). So Ariff knows that Anwar fell not because he was having sex with boys but because he refused to help bail out Dr Mahathir’s son.

There are so many more transgressions we can list down (such as how Dr Mahathir cheated in the 1987 party election and how he conducted defamation campaigns against his enemies, etc.). Nevertheless, suffice to say Ariff is not being honest and is trying to con Malaysians into believing that Najib is Malaysia’s most corrupt Prime Minister while Dr Mahathir did great things for Malaysia and did not steal one cent of Malaysia’s money.

Ariff is either a fool or he thinks we are fools. And is this the best Malay that DAP can offer us? DAP must be really desperate if they need the likes of Ariff to present as their icon. And DAP’s desperation shows even more when they cling to Dr Mahathir as their saviour and de facto opposition leader. In English we call this scraping the bottom of the barrel.

What a bunch of pathetic losers. It is because of people like Ariff that I am embarrassed to call myself Malay.

Ariff: Malays must get thinking, politics right

(Free Malaysia Today) – No one will emulate Malays as good examples of wasatiyyah (moderation) if they continue to tolerate corruption and attack those who want to stamp out such practices and abuse of power, warned Raub MP Mohd Ariff Sabri Abdul Aziz in his latest blog posting.

“For example, the RM2.6 billion controversy remains unresolved. It seems that Malays lack noble values and are not honourable.”

He wonders what will become of the Malays considering that they have a Prime Minister who faces 1,001 allegations of corruption and yet they go along with attempts to humiliate a former Prime Minister who administered the nation for 22 years.

“This seems to show that Malays like to take the side of those who are in the wrong and place their hopes for the future on such people.”

“There are even Ministers who claim that the Official Secrets Act (OSA) was necessary for them to get any work done. The laws don’t exist to cover up mischief. If that’s the case, there’s something wrong with the laws.”

Elsewhere, the MP cites the appointment of Ahmad Bashah in Kedah and the influx of Bangladeshis as other examples of Malays not thinking right. “What’s so special about these Bangladeshis? They come here and run after Malay girls.”

“It’s also a case of people making money out of bringing in these foreign workers because wages paid to locals are too low.”

The Malays, added Ariff, should in fact be concerned about the influx of foreign workers considering that they are taking away jobs from locals, bring in a foreign culture and sending back billions every year to their home countries.

“It’s said that local workers shy away from 3D jobs, dirty, difficult and dangerous. That doesn’t jell when local youth make for Singapore and other countries to do the same 3D jobs that they are supposedly avoiding at home.”

The appointment of Ahmad Bashah was another case in point, said Ariff. “The Malays previously understood the importance of meritocracy, of placing the right people in the right jobs. It’s not a question of qualifications but not having square pegs in round holes.”

“If we compromise on decent standards, that’s the end of the Malays.”

The defence of the new Kedah Menteri Besar was tiresome, said Ariff. “Be prepared for mediocre results if we defend the mediocre. We must be willing to match people and jobs.”

“Malays are aware of their mistakes but are not willing to correct them.”

In summing up, Ariff deplores the various statements issued by Umno leaders and feel that these should not be allowed to remain unchallenged. “The people are being threatened, pinched, bullied, and their intelligence insulted.”

“Yet, they continue to support the leaders who are doing all these things to them. This must be stopped.”

Government leaders who continue to make offensive statements must be stopped, he reiterated.

He does not see what good can come from having such leaders.
