Khairuddin the snake-oil merchant

No, I do not believe in fungus on a hospital window or in the power of the colour of ang paus. And I for sure do not believe that Muhyiddin is just trying to save Malaysia or that Dr Mahathir is the greatest reformist in the world since Martin Luther. And that is because my brain is better than yours and because I am not easily fooled by snake-oil merchants who sell you all-cure remedies that can treat everything from cancer to premature ejaculation.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

I would like to refer to the two news items below from Malaysiakini and Free Malaysia Today. Basically, both news items more or less refer to the same issue: the issue of the ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign) and its epic failure in its many attempts to oust Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

Basically, what all this tells us is that you can take the Malay out of the kampung but you cannot take the kampung out of the Malay. And Khairuddin Abu Hassan has demonstrated the truth in this in more ways than one. At the end of the day he is still just a kampung boy pretending to be a man of the world.

What Khairuddin said (that Muhyiddin Yassin should terus bejuang demi rakyat or continue to struggle for the sake of the people) is nothing short of a con-job by a snake-oil merchant. Snake-oil merchants will try to sell you their cure-all remedies with a sales pitch that puts even Mat Sabu, Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli to shame.

And this is remarkable considering that these people are shameless and can tell you a lie with a bare face. “Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim is the most hard-working, honest and trustworthy Menteri Besar in history,” said Tony Pua. “The Kajang Move is not aimed at replacing Khalid Ibrahim as Menteri Besar,” said Rafizi Ramli. “I may have been caught in a hotel room with someone’s wife, but can you prove it with four witnesses, because you only have three witnesses?” said Mat Sabu.

Khairuddin can probably fool those Pakatuns who get entertained with Mat Sabu screaming on stage where he dances and then throws the microphone to the ground — or those who got excited watching Tony Pua in that Chinese New Year video insulting one of the hordes of Chinese Gods as any good Christian like him is expected to do.

Mat Sabu was upset because Pakatan Harapan could not even mobilise more than 500 people to commemorate the first year’s anniversary of Anwar Ibrahim’s incarceration so how are they going to win the next general election?

Well, let’s not hold our breath for the next general election lest we turn blue in the face. Let’s see Pakatan Harapan take over Sarawak and form the new state government first in two months or so from now. I am sure Sarawak Report will be able to help Pakatan Harapan take over the state and install Baru Bian as the new Sarawak Chief Minister (which is the term and condition for Sarawak Report working for Pakatan Harapan: that Baru Bian must be the new Sarawak Chief Minister).

Khairuddin is trying to sell us the idea that his boss Muhyiddin Yassin’s objective in ousting Najib is to save the country. So they are doing this just for the good of the rakyat. Otai Reformis, however, says that that is a load of hogwash. This is in response to Zaid Ibrahim’s announcement that Dr Mahathir has replaced Anwar Ibrahim as the new Reformasi leader.

If I remember correctly, it was Zaid who condemned Dr Mahathir for destroying the judiciary back in 1988. Zaid even paid the ex-Chief Justice, Tun Salleh Abas, and those judges who Dr Mahathir sacked, compensation for their wrongful dismissal.

Zaid gave Dr Mahathir a tight slap on his face. By paying all those sacked judges compensation for wrongful dismissal it was like telling the world that the allegation against Dr Mahathir about him destroying the judiciary is true after all. And now Zaid says Dr Mahathir is the greatest reformist in the world.

No, this is not about the rakyat. It is about a grab for power. Dr Mahathir wants Najib under his control. And he is upset that he cannot control Najib. How can removing Najib be beneficial to the rakyat? Would having Muhyiddin as the new Prime Minister make Malaysia a great nation? Muhyiddin is another case of you can take the Malay out of the kampung but you cannot take the kampung out of the Malay.

If you read properly what Khairuddin said he is not really concerned about the rakyat. He is concerned about Umno. He is saying if Najib is not ousted then most likely Umno will be ousted in the next general election. So better they oust Najib than the voters oust Umno.

So, if you do not want to face the risk of Umno getting kicked out then get rid of Najib. If you don’t get rid of Najib then face the risk of Umno getting kicked out. That is also what Dr Mahathir and Muhyiddin and all the rest in the ANC are saying.

And the most surprising thing about this whole thing is Pakatan Harapan agrees with this and that is why they are working with the ANC to try to oust Najib. I suppose if the Arabs can work with the United States and Israel to fight their fellow Muslims then nothing should surprise us any longer.

Let me make this very clear to those with brains like Khairuddin Abu Hassan, Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli. The move to oust Najib is not about serving the rakyat. It is not even about trying to save Umno. It is about a grab for power so that Team Muhyiddin as the new Prime Minister can serve the interests of Dr Mahathir and the ANC.

The thing is, whenever politicians do something they will always give you that song and dance routine about “everything I do I do it for you” like a line from that Bryan Adams song. And if you believe that then you can believe that pigs can fly.

I suppose it is not hard for these people to swallow that line when they can even believe that fungus on a hospital window is the image of the mother of Jesus or that white ang paus on Chinese New Year will bring you financial ruin.

Malaysians are so gullible and naïve they will swallow anything you throw at them hook, line and sinker. I mean, just look at the face of that Khairuddin and tell me whether that gives you the impression we are dealing with a man with the mind of an Einstein. He and Mat Sabu are like two peas in a pod, or as the Malays would say: bagai pinang dibelah dua. And this goes for Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli as well who could pass as twins if not for the colour of their skin.

Dr Mahathir is conning the rakyat

(Malaysiakini) – Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad is only interested in getting rid of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, not in true reform, veteran activists say.

“Mahathir’s reform is only on Najib, not the system.

“We want to change the system to a pro-rakyat pure democracy,” Otai Reformis chairperson Saari Sungib told Malaysiakini.

Saari was responding to remarks by former law minister Zaid Ibrahim today that Mahathir wants change more than reformists do.

Saari’s remarks were echoed by fellow Otai Reformis activist Ronnie Liu.

“Mahathir works hard to bring down Najib, no doubt about it. But his agenda is different from that of reformists.

“Mahathir has a personal agenda,” Liu said when contacted.

He added that reformists also want a change in government, while Mahathir still insists on the BN ruling Malaysia.

Meanwhile, another Otai Reformis member, S Jayathas, told Malaysiakini that the reformist movement began because Mahathir was a menace.

“All the mess we are in today is because of what Mahathir did when he was the prime minister and today we see the fruits of his achievements,” Jayathas said.

He added that if Mahathir was serious about change, he should engage with Pakatan Harapan.

Saari said Otai Reformis would discuss, later this week, whether or not to join the anti-Najib rally Zaid and Mahathir plan to hold on March 27.

Wahai Muhyiddin, teruskan berjuang demi rakyat!

(Free Malaysia Today) – Timbalan Presiden UMNO, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin tidak seharusnya tunduk dengan tekanan daripada pemimpin parti itu supaya berhenti bersuara untuk mencari kebenaran.

Muhyiddin juga perlu terus membuat teguran serta kritikan terhadap kerajaan pimpinan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak terutamanya melibatkan isu 1MBD serta derma RM2.6 bilion demi mencari kebenaran.

Naib Ketua Bahagian Batu Kawan, Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan berkata, saranan Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz supaya Muhyiddin dipecat sebagai Timbalan Presiden hanya bertujuan memberi tekanan kepada Ahli Parlimen Pagoh itu supaya berhenti bercakap isu rakyat.

“Pedulikan dan persetankan dengan semua kalangan kaki bodek minda lemah otak udang macam Nazri Aziz. Mereka ini adalah golongan parasit yang sedang merosakkan imej UMNO. Puak inilah yang hakikatnya membuatkan lebih ramai rakyat jelata bakal menjauhkan diri dari UMNO.

“Kita perlu cuci dan bersihkan imej UMNO dari dalam dan luaran seandainya mahu menjaminkan survivalnya parti keramat ini seakhir zaman. Puak-puak ini yang bersubahat dengan kemungkaran mesti disepak keluar dari parti UMNO.

“Semua yang sayangkan parti UMNO mesti berani bercakap yang hakikat serta hakiki.Jangan jadi hipokrit di dalam parti. Depan cakap lain belakang buat lain.Kita kena jujur dan amanah di dalam perjuangan,” katanya menerusi kenyataan terbaharu Facebooknya.

Jelasnya lagi, masa depan UMNO juga akan hancur sekiranya parti Melayu itu diterajui pemimpin yang tidak amanah serta kaki bodek dalam perjuangan.

“Jangan takut di dalam perjuangan. Tanpa pengorbanan yang jujur, luhur dan ikhlas maka tidak lengkaplah sesuatu perjuangan itu. UMNO bukan milik pemimpin haprak yang tertentu tetapi UMNO adalah milik keseluruhan bangsa Melayu di tanah air tercinta ini,” katanya.
