Lim Kit Siang and Tun Dr Mahathir: Desperation Truly Makes For Strange Bed Fellows!

In 2015, the Opposition and Tun Dr. Mahathir’s effort to remove Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak from office was like a new release of The Fast and The Furious!
The accusations of Billions of dollars disappearing and then supposedly reappearing in the Prime Ministers personal account were better than a David Copperfield Las Vegas Show!
As 2015 wound down, Malaysians slowly started to see that the Opposition and Tun Dr. Mahathir were only third rate magicians trying to create an illusion to smear the reputation of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
In actuality, the Opposition and Tun Dr Mahathir desperately wanted the Prime Minister to resign before the truth of the 1MDB audit report came out. They knew and still know that that their cheap magical tricks will be exposed after the report is made public.
Therefore for the Opposition and Tun Dr Mahathir it is a matter of guilty until proven innocent when it comes to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak. if they could put enough pressure him to resign, then it would no longer matter what the 1MDB report contained as they will have achieved their personal goals.
Now as a result of separately having their tricks fail to bring about the removal of the Prime Minister from office; once antagonist, Lim Kit Siang representing the Opposition and Tun Dr Mahathir representing his bruised ego have met to explore how they could work their magic together like ‘Siegfried and Roy’.
Truly desperation makes for strange bed fellows (the humour is not lost on me)
What can the pubic expect from this meeting?
Probably more of the same 3rd rate magical tricks that we have seen heard and experienced for more than a year. The only this time is that they will perform together.
Hmm… I wonder if they will hold hands and take a bow after each news conference performance.
