Lim Kit Siang is also getting senile
Next time listen when Malaysia Today says that the amount was US$1 billion and not US$700 million. But then you wanted to believe it was US$700 million because that figure was needed to support the story that the money was stolen from 1MDB. If it was US$1 billion then it could not have been stolen from 1MDB.

Prove money was returned to Saudi royals, says Kit Siang
“Even more pertinent is The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report on March 1 that deposits into Najib’s personal bank accounts totalled more than US$1 billion and not just US$681 million (RM2.6 billion) as earlier alleged,” Lim Kit Sang said in a statement.
That was what The Malaysian Insider reported today.
First of all, since the middle of last year, Malaysia Today had been saying that the donation that Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak received was US$1 billion and not RM2.6 billion. In fact, Malaysia Today mentioned this more than once but no one was listening. And they were not listening mainly because Malaysia Today is not a pro-Pakatan Harapan blog.
You need to be pro-Pakatan Harapan before what you write can be believed. If you are not pro-Pakatan Harapan then you cannot be telling the truth. Only pro-Pakatan Harapan people tell the truth. All others lie. That is the long and short of it all.
And now Lim Kit Siang is foaming at the mouth and is saying that the real amount was US$1 billion and not RM2.6 billion after all. And he is making it appear like Najib lied and said that the amount was RM2.6 billion and not US$1 billion.
Did Najib say it was RM2.6 billion and not US$1 billion? Who said it was RM2.6 billion and not US$1 billion? Malaysia Today said many times it was US$1 billion and not RM2.6 billion. It was Wall Street Journal, The Edge, The Malaysian Insider, Sarawak Report, Malaysiakini, etc., that said it was RM2.6 billion and not US$1 billion.
So Wall Street Journal, The Edge, The Malaysian Insider, Sarawak Report, Malaysiakini, etc., lied while Malaysia Today told the truth. So why is Lim Kit Siang screaming and foaming at the mouth? Go ask Wall Street Journal, The Edge, The Malaysian Insider, Sarawak Report, Malaysiakini, etc., why they said it was RM2.6 billion and not US$1 billion. Why ask Najib? It was not Najib who said it was RM2.6 billion and not US$1 billion.
These people are weird. They make an allegation and when the allegation is later proven false they attack the accused rather than the accuser. Lim Kit Siang sudah gila ke?
This was what Malay Mail Online reported on 30th July 2015 soon after the ‘purge’:
The 1MDB special task force is currently investigating an alleged US$700 million (RM2.6 billion) money trail involving several companies — SRC International, Ihsan Perdana, Gandingan Mentari Sdn Bhd — that purportedly channeled the funds to what is believed to be Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s bank accounts.
In a report earlier this month, US-based daily The Wall Street Journal, citing documents from Malaysian investigators currently scrutinising the troubled 1MDB’s financials, claimed that a money trail showed that US$700 million were moved among government agencies, banks and companies before ending up in Najib’s accounts.
So you see, they needed to match that US$700 million figure. So they alleged that the money that was banked into Najib’s personal bank account was RM2.6 billion instead of US$1 billion. If they say it was US$1 billion then how could the money have come from 1MDB?
I mean, if they allege that US$700 million was stolen from 1MDB (and they say they have documents to prove this), and if they then allege that US$1 billion was banked into Najib’s personal bank account, the figures will not match. That would mean the money that went into Najib’s personal bank account could not have come from 1MDB.
Therefore, to make the figures match, they alleged that US$700 million was stolen from 1MDB and then they alleged that US$700 million was banked into Najib’s personal bank account. The figures match and this ‘proves’ that the money was stolen from 1MDB.
But Malaysia Today said that the donation came to US$1 billion while the money allegedly stolen from 1MDB was US$700 million. The figures do not match. So how can US$700 million leave 1MDB’s bank account while US$1 billion arrives in Najib’s personal bank account?
Can you see how they twisted and lied? And now they want to make it appear like it was Najib who had lied whereas Najib did not say anything regarding the amount but only that the money was a donation and was not stolen from 1MDB.
And now Lim Kit Siang wants Najib to prove that the donation was returned to the Arab donor. Why does Najib need to do that? The accuser must prove his or his allegation. Najib needs to do absolutely nothing. And until and unless you can prove that Najib is guilty then Najib is presumed innocent because the onus is on the accuser to prove guilt and not on the accused to prove his or her innocence.
Anyway, the fact that Wall Street Journal, The Edge, The Malaysian Insider, Sarawak Report, Malaysiakini, etc., lied about the amount that went into Najib’s personal bank account being US$700 million means it is very likely they lied about many other things as well. And the reason they lied is to make their story sound plausible because if they have quoted a figure of US$1 billion then their story that that money was stolen from 1MDB falls to pieces.
Next time listen when Malaysia Today says that the amount was US$1 billion and not US$700 million. But then you wanted to believe it was US$700 million because that figure was needed to support the story that the money was stolen from 1MDB. If it was US$1 billion then it could not have been stolen from 1MDB.
