The ballad of Mahathir and the opposition makes funny entertainment

It is the height of political naivety that PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Ismail would even dare intimate that Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and the opposition need each other, much less who needs who more. It is so laughable but then you can expect that from her.

Dr. Mahathir doesn’t need you. Get that through your heads, people! He just wants to create a picture which makes it look like he has major support. He needs to borrow your appearance during that few hours so that he would not be seen as operating as an NGI (non-governmental individual) like Hishamuddin Rais.

He had just quit his flock and needs to be seen that he is not ‘syiok sendiri’. The needy so-called civil society unelected leaders took the bait. Not surprising, considering that they are not too smart ladies of leisure who rose by just being ‘kay-poh’ when others did not care.

Other opposition MPs were there eager only to see the start of a bidding war where their votes will bring pecuniary benefits to them. Time to cash in after umpteen years of being at the people’s beck and call. In any case, there’s not much action except quarrel, quarrel, quarrel with each other.

Now Dr. Mahathir will proceed with his plans, which incidentally don’t need you much. Now he can talk to certain people as if he has a mandate of sorts and he will get what he wants from whomever. After he has obtained what he wants, you can repudiate him all you want, he doesn’t care.

Better still if you kick him out from whatever, then he can return to UMNO without his trademark smirk and with stuff in his pockets that can oust Najib. Soon all the BN MPs will breathlessly gravitate to him because he has the future in his pockets. Najib would be yesterday’s news soon, and like most opportunistic BN MPs they will lick the future’s ass.

That is a bit contrived of Mahathir, you would say. But that is vintage Mahathir. Nothing is sacred as long as he gets what he wants. You are the joke for being bitten by Mahathir once, twice, three times.

Who needs the opposition when you have overwhelming support from BN MPs. Anwar would still be in jail and Malaysia would still be Najib’s Malaysia. Reforms? What reforms? Malaysia is doing so well, quoting Najib. Mukhriz would be at least a deputy prime minister but Dr. Mahathir doesn’t recommend that for he knows the pitfalls, compliment of tyrants.

Lim Kit Siang, Mat Sabu, Anwar Ibrahim would be looking so cheap for so easily being made such fools, when they start to run down Dr. Mahathir as a dirty double-crossing S.O.B. It’s the nature of the beast, guys, and worse still…..his roots are from Kerala. I am mean.
