Lim Guan Eng’s corruption is small, not big

And if I need to give you the answer to all those questions above then you are too stupid for me to layan and you and Lim Guan Eng deserve one another. Bodoh tak boleh diajar dan sombong tak boleh ditegur. Ringkas cerita: bodoh-sombong! Let’s see what the MACC does now.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

I do not know why Sarawak Report, Malaysiakini, Malaysia Chronicle, and the now deceased The Malaysian Insider, are making so much noise about my BMW. They are making it appear like that BMW is hard evidence that I am corrupted and have been bought by Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

That BMW is second-hand and I bought it long before April 2015. Are you suggesting that only corrupted people can afford to buy a BMW? There are many Malaysian Chinese in the UK, even here in Manchester itself, and a number of them are students, and yet they own BMWs and Mercedes Benzes.

So, are you saying that Chinese, by nature, are crooks and dishonest people and the proof is in the cars that they own? If that is so then there are very few honest Chinese. The majority of the Chinese are crooks and dishonest people.

Or is it only Malays who own BMWs and Mercedes Benzes are crooks and dishonest people while Chinese who own BMWs and Mercedes Benzes are honest and hardworking people and that is why they can afford BMWs and Mercedes Benzes?

Yes, that is how the mind of a racist works. A racist looks down on people of another race and they think that those not of their race are inferior people. And Malays had better remember this before they vote in the next general election. Don’t vote for the Chinese DAP-led Pakatan Harapan that looks down on the Malays and thinks poorly of Islam.

To them, those who support the Islamic State and/or the Shariah/Hudud are backward people. So you Malays-Muslims are orang ketinggalan zaman. Remember that!

Anyway, as Lim Guan Eng said, my BMW is no big deal because it does not come with a swimming pool. It is just a BMW biasa, like Lim Guan Eng’s house.

More importantly, though, can you see how they deflect the issue? The issue is no longer about abuse of power or corruption but about whether the house is a special house with a swimming pool or a normal house without a swimming pool.

Lim Guan Eng’s house is also very old, 40 years old to be exact. So it has very little value. Buckingham Palace is even older, 152 years old to be exact. And that is why it has even less value than Lim Guan Eng’s ‘palace’. No one would want Buckingham Palace even if the Queen gave it away free-of-charge.

This line of defence did not help Khir Toyo stay out of jail. So why should Lim Guan Eng not also be sent to jail?

Corruption is corruption. It does not matter whether it comes with a swimming pool or not. Did Khir Toyo go to jail because his house happened to come with a swimming pool?

Even more important is the fact that Malaysiakini and the other pro-opposition portals and Blogs are already playing the Lim Guan Eng apologist role.

Why is Rafizi Ramli not planning a road show to travel the whole country to inform the rakyat of this matter?

Why is Tony Pua not asking the PAC to investigate this matter and for a Royal Commission of Inquiry to be set up so that the truth can be revealed?

Why is Teresa Kok not doing a satire on YouTube so that everyone can be entrained by her clownish antics?

Why is Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad not launching a Save Penang Campaign and signing a Penang Peoples’ Declaration?

Why are Sarawak Report and the Wall Street Journal plus the many opposition portals and Blogs not fighting for the truth and justice?

Remember what I said in my NST interview (READ HERE)? Well, I rest my case.

Guan Eng says house ordinary bungalow, not a mansion

(Malaysiakini) – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has refuted Umno’s accusations that he had bought a house he previously rented at an unusually low price.

Lim said the house on Jalan Pinhorn was 30 years old and was an ordinary bungalow lot.

“It is not a mansion and has no swimming pool,” Lim told Malaysiakini.

“I will response to the matter at a press conference tomorrow,” he added.

Earlier, Lim tweeted “More lies by Umno trying 2equate me with BN. Bought 40yr old house through subsale not thro developer will reply 2mrw”.

He was responding to Shabudin Yahaya (BN-Tasek Gelugor) who claimed in the Dewan Rakyat today that Lim had bought the house he previously rented at an unusually low price.

Shabudin said the house in George Town was initially valued at RM2.5 million in 2008, and had extensive renovations made, but was sold to Lim last year for just RM2.8 million.

Shabudin claimed this did not realistically reflect the rise in property value.

Attacked over house price, Guan Eng says doesn’t have swimming pool

(Malay Mail Online) – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng today said the property he bought was not a luxury home, after critics alleged irregularity in its purchase price.

The DAP secretary-general was responding to Barisan Nasional lawmakers who demanded a corruption investigation against him for the purchase of his previously-rented home in Penang, for what they alleged was an abnormally low price.

“It is not a mansion and has no swimming pool,” Lim was quoted as saying by news portal Malaysiakini.

“I will respond to the matter at a press conference tomorrow.”

According to the BN lawmakers led by Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Shabudin Yahaya, Lim bought the house for RM2.8 million when the property had in 2008 been valued at RM2.5 million.

They insisted that it was improbable that the home’s value only appreciated RM300,000 since 2008, and likened Lim to former Selangor mentri besar Dr Khir Toyo who bought a mansion at below market price through corrupt practices.
