How do other CMs’ houses look like?
Has Penang CM Lim Guan Eng’s willingness to open up his private home to the media turned the spotlight on other CM’s houses?

It is perhaps the first time that a chief minister actually led a horde of nosy reporters for a tour in his private home while he was being besieged by allegations that he had bought the bungalow at RM2.8 million, below its market value.
Although such a house tour does not absolve the accusations against Penang CM Lim Guan Eng – as rightly stated by Minister of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, it does however indicate Lim’s willingness to be completely investigated by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC).
Taking the mainstream media – who has never really been friendly to him in their reports – for the tour, also shows Lim’s openness to all. This is the man who once called Umno-owned Utusan Malaysia a “party-organ”.
The action of opening his doors to everyone into his home must not only be applauded by all elected politicians but must also be emulated.
The rakyat is now curious as to how big the houses of those who have criticised Lim, especially that of Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Shabudin Yahaya’s.
