The heat has shifted from Najib to Kit Siang
Mahathir is just like a mushroom that lives in the dark and is fed manure every day. And Mahathir was certainly in the dark and was being fed a whole load of manure. And this is what angers Mahathir the most: that he was a bloody fool and that this has now been revealed.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

It is actually quite comical that Lim Kit Siang can accuse his son’s critics of slander and of having a political agenda, etc., (SEE NEWS ITEM BELOW) while at the same time he says that all the allegations against Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak are the Gospel.
Regarding what they say about his son, Kit Siang says, “There were other objectives in the scurrilous and incendiary attacks, many constructed from half-truths, lies and downright falsehoods.” However, when it comes to the 2nd July 2015 The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report (SEE BELOW), Kit Siang does not say the same. In fact, he calls them ‘Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s twin mega scandals’.
“They must prove Umno and BN wrong in all their nefarious political designs and conspiracies,” said Kit Siang. The irony of this whole thing is the same can be said about Kit Siang’s so-called Twin Mega Scandals, which are, as he said, nefarious political designs and conspiracies.
The 1MDB and RM2.6 billion stories were planted and WSJ ran that story based on what they had been fed. After that other local and foreign media and Bloggers picked up the story. Then Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad launched his crusade and used this ‘revelation’ as the foundation of his crusade.
In fact, it was actually the other way around. Mahathir did not launch his ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign) because of WSJ’s revelation regarding 1MDB and the RM2.6 billion (Kit Siang’s alleged Twin Mega Scandals, which he repeats over and over again in every statement he issues). What really happened is that Mahathir leaked the documents to WSJ so that he had an excuse to launch the ANC once WSJ ran its report.
In short, Mahathir framed Najib just like Anwar Ibrahim says Mahathir framed him on fabricated allegations of sodomy. And if the Pakatuns can believe Anwar and can believe that Mahathir is capable of framing someone then it makes sense that Mahathir would also frame Najib.
And Pakatuns are never wrong, or so we are being led to believe.
Even more suspicious is the fact that the attack on Najib started on 12th December 2014 with the police report Khairuddin Abu Hassan made against Najib. Then, in January and February 2015, Mahathir met various people to mobilise support for the ANC. It was clear that Mahathir was mobilising his forces in which he was going to use to attack Najib.
But Mahathir needed an excuse. So he gave WSJ, Sarawak Report, The Edge, The Malaysian Insider, etc., the documents related to 1MDB and the RM2.6 billion. As soon as WSJ published its ‘revelation’ on 2nd July 2015, on 4th July 2015 the Attorney General announced that it had received the documents regarding this issue and on 8th July 2015 they announced the setting up of the Special Task Force.
And even before the investigation can be completed and the truth can be established, in just three weeks (the fastest ever investigation in Malaysian history) the Attorney General and the MACC prepared the arrest papers which they were going to use to force Najib to resign and hand the government to Mahathir’s proxy…or else…
To cut a long story short, it was a coup d’état, which failed when Najib did a brilliant countercoup and decapitated the coup conspirators.
The impression they gave us was that the WSJ expose triggered the setting up of the Special Task Force. WSJ, in turn, said that the documents they obtained, and which their story is based on, came from the investigation. But how can a 2nd July 2015 story (which must have been prepared in June 2015) come from an investigation in which the Special Task Force was not launched until after that on 8th July 2015?
Something is wrong with this story because the timeline does not make sense. Did the WSJ story come from the investigation or did the investigation come from the WSJ story? This is the chicken and the egg conundrum. The WSJ story could not have come from the investigation if the Special Task Force was launched after the story was run.
But you do not need Sherlock Homes to solve this mystery. The documents for the WSJ story came from Mahathir and the reason for this is so that the Attorney General can announce (after the story is run) that they are investigating the story and that a Special Task Force has been set up for his very purpose.
But why is Mahathir doing this? He knows that RM42 billion of 1MDB’s money has not lesap or disappeared into thin air and he knows that RM2.6 billion of 1MDB’s money has not been transferred into Najib’s personal bank account.
In fact, Mahathir even knows it was not RM2.6 billion, which is only about US$700 million at that time, but US$1 billion, which would be closer to RM4.2 billion then. So why say it is US$700 million or RM2.6 billion when it is not?
Well, the reason is simple. There was a transaction for US700 million in 1MDB’s books so they needed to match the amount of the so-called ‘stolen money’ with that transaction. And if they say Najib stole US$1 billion then the figures would not match. So they had to say it was US$700 million instead of US$1 billion.
And now WSJ and the others all say that it is not US$700 million after all but US$1 billion. But is that not what Malaysia Today has been telling you again and again since last year — that it was US1 billion and not US700 million? So why act so surprised as if this is a ‘new discovery’?
And now that it is confirmed as US$1 billion and not US$700 million, how can the money have come from 1MDB?
In fact, they no longer talk about where that money came from. They agree that the money was a donation from Arab benefactors. So now they are shifting the focus to how the money was spent. And they are suggesting that Najib spent US$15 million of that US$1 billion for his shopping. This is the last desperate attempt to make the 1MDB and RM2.6 billion stories still relevant when they are already a dead story.
But that is not really the issue. The issue is Mahathir wants his son to become the Prime Minister in 2020. And unless and until his son becomes Prime Minister, Mahathir is not going to return Umno’s RM100-200 billion that he is holding under trustees, nominees and proxies.
Mahathir knows that without money there is very little Najib can do. And no one from both sides of the political divide denies that it costs about RM1.5 billion to finance the general election. And this has been so since the days when Mahathir was Prime Minister.
So how can Najib finance the general election if he has no money, and money to the tune of RM1-2 billion? The only way Umno can win the general election would be to agree to Mukhriz becoming Prime Minister in 2020. Then Mahathir will release part of this RM100-200 billion to make sure that Umno and Barisan Nasional stay in power — and more or the balance once Mukhriz becomes Prime Minister.
So Najib had his back to the wall. He was trapped and could not move. And that was when the Arab benefactor came in with the US$1 billion donation. So Najib managed to breath a sigh of relief and did not have to crawl on his hands and knees to beg Mahathir for money.
Najib could now tell Mahathir that he no longer needs the old man’s help and that he can go hang itself. In fact, Mahathir complained that Najib ignored him and refused to see him or talk to him for six months. So this is no secret.
And this made Mahathir mad big time. And that was when he decided to go for Najib and get rid of him. And that was when Mahathir mooted the idea to bring Najib down through the 1MDB and RM2.6 billion issues.
And then we had willing conspirators in the form of Muhyiddin Yassin and Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah who gave Mahathir false information to give the old man confidence that Najib could be brought down.
Muhyiddin fed Mahathir crap regarding 1MDB (which is why Mahathir stupidly announced that RM42 billion had disappeared into thin air) while Tengku Razaleigh told Mahathir that no less than 30 Barisan Nasional Members of Parliament are waiting to join the opposition Members of Parliament to pass a vote of no confidence against Najib in Parliament.
Mahathir is just like a mushroom that lives in the dark and is fed manure every day. And Mahathir was certainly in the dark and was being fed a whole load of manure. And this is what angers Mahathir the most: that he was a bloody fool and that this has now been revealed.

Investigators Believe Money Flowed to Malaysian Leader Najib’s Accounts Amid 1MDB Probe
Prime Minister Najib’s bank accounts are scrutinized during investigation of investment fund 1MDB
(WSJ, 2 July 2015) – Malaysian investigators scrutinising a controversial government investment fund have traced nearly $700 million of deposits into what they believe are the personal bank accounts of Malaysia’s prime minister, Najib Razak, according to documents from a government probe.
The investigation documents mark the first time Mr. Najib has been directly connected to the probes into state investment fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd., or 1MDB.
Mr. Najib, who founded 1MDB and heads its board of advisors, has been under growing political pressure over the fund, which amassed $11 billion in debt it is struggling to repay.
The government probe documents what investigators believe to be the movement of cash among government agencies, banks and companies linked to 1MDB before it ended up in Mr. Najib’s personal accounts. Documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal include bank transfer forms and flow charts put together by government investigators that reflect their understanding of the path of the cash.
The original source of the money is unclear and the government investigation doesn’t detail what happened to the money that went into Mr. Najib’s personal accounts.
“The prime minister has not taken any funds for personal use,” said a Malaysian government spokesman. “The prime minister’s political opponents, unwilling to accept his record or the facts, continue to try to undermine him with baseless smears and rumours for pure political gain.”

Kit Siang speaks of agenda behind Guan Eng attacks
DAP leaders, members and supporters must foil the multi-prong objectives of the current Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) offensive, centred on Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, to eliminate him as an effective campaigner for DAP and Pakatan Harapan in the forthcoming Sarawak state election, said DAP Parliamentary Leader Lim Kit Siang in a statement.
“They must prove Umno and BN wrong in all their nefarious political designs and conspiracies.”
Lim, who has been suspended from Parliament as Gelang Patah MP, alleged that there were other objectives in the “scurrilous and incendiary” attacks, many constructed from half-truths, lies and downright falsehoods.”
These include, according to Lim, deflecting attention from the national and international focus on Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s mega scandals, undermine the “Save Malaysia” campaign in the wake of the Citizens’ Declaration in Kuala Lumpur on March 4, and disrupt, disintegrate and destroy the DAP, which Umno and BN regard as the most united and cohesive political force in the Opposition.
