Tian Chua admits that the aim of the ANC is to kill Umno
Anyway, whatever it may be, Suara Tian Chua has admitted that the Anwar-Mahathir alliance is to kick Umno and Barisan Nasional out and replace the government with DAP-led Pakatan Harapan coalition. It is good that Suara Tian Chua tells us this because at least those who do not wish for a DAP-led Pakatan Harapan government will know what to do.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
You can read below what Malaysia Chronicle a.k.a. Suara Tian Chua wrote today. Now, what is the first impression you get from reading the report below?
Yes, that’s right, it sounds like a Chinese-educated reporter wrote that piece. This is just like the Chinese-educated reporter from Malaysiakini who wrongly reported that Sarawakians must vote BN if they want to continue to have a Malay-Muslim Chief Minister. But then Malaysiakini has always been anti-Malay/Muslim anyway so that is not a surprise.
It is fine if you want to spin propaganda. After all, that is what Malaysia Chronicle, Malaysiakini, Sarawak Report, etc., were all set up for. No doubt they all present themselves as ‘independent news portals’. But they are as independent as I am a virgin. So as long as we know they were set up merely to serve an interest then you can take everything they say with a pinch of salt.
Suara Tian Chua’s story below opened by saying that “the spirit behind the Save Malaysia movement and the Citizens’ Declaration is the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.” At least they are being very honest about it by telling us that it is an Anti-Najib Campaign (ANC).
But what Suara Tian Chua did not tell us, and which they should have, is after removing Najib who is going to take over? And is this just about removing Najib or does it include removing Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as well?
Suara Tian Chua remained silent on that because they know they cannot say more than that without creating a storm. Of course, if they remove Najib it is not so that Zahid can take over. That would be back to square one. So they need to remove both Najib and Zahid at the same time. But they cannot tell us that.
Okay, so Najib and Zahid must both be removed. That means we need a new Prime Minister and a new Deputy Prime Minister. Or is it going to be a new Prime Minister and THREE Deputy Prime Ministers? Yes, that is what they are not telling us. Has DAP been promised one Deputy Prime Minister’s post and another Deputy Prime Minister from East Malaysia, rotated between Sabah and Sarawak?
They talk about transparency. So why don’t they, too, be transparent? Tell us what the plan is. Don’t just say: “the spirit behind the Save Malaysia movement and the Citizens’ Declaration is the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.” The removal of Najib is not the endgame. It is the means to an end. So what is the end game? That is more important than the game plan.
Suara Tian Chua then says that the ANC “has brought together Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Anwar Ibrahim, who have been foes since 1998.” That is not entirely true. Soon after Mahathir became Prime Minister in 1981, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (Ku Li) spoke to Mahathir to persuade him to bring Anwar into Umno. Mahathir, however, refused. Ku Li then told Mahathir that if Umno did not take Anwar then he might join PAS and that would be worse for Umno.
Later, soon after Mahathir retired in 2003, he was interviewed in Japan and he said he agreed to bring Anwar into Umno thinking that Anwar could be controlled. But when it was discovered that Anwar could not be controlled but was, in fact, plotting behind his (Mahathir’s) back, they had no choice but to get rid of him.
So Anwar and Mahathir were not foes since 1998, as Suara Tian Chua reported. They were always foes since before 1981. Mahathir brought Anwar into Umno so that he can keep his friends close and his enemies even closer. Mahathir never trusted Anwar. Mahathir knew that one day Anwar would make his move and he would in turn need to make his counter-move to finish Anwar off.
Suara Tian Chua said, “With Anwar feeding ideas from within prison while Tun Mahathir rolls up his sleeves to campaign, it will be extremely difficult for Umno and BN to win and form a government.”
Now, the message Suara Tian Chua is sending us is that Anwar is the strategist while Mahathir is the tool. This elevates Anwar’s role in the ANC while Mahathir is reduced to just a kuda. Does this mean that Mahathir is prepared to sell himself cheap or stoop so low just to make his son the Prime Minister? And if it is Anwar who is calling the shots from prison, as Suara Tian Chua says, is part of that plan the future political career of Mukhriz?
It was Anwar who in 1998 revealed that Mahathir is corrupt and that his children all became super-rich on the back of this corruption. So is Mukhriz the man Anwar now backs for Prime Minister or is he instead going to do what he promised in 1998: that once Umno is kicked out then Mahathir and his family are going to pay for robbing the country to the tune of RM100 billion, the figure which Anwar quoted back in 1998.
Suara Tian Chua also said that the Citizens’ Declaration is all about ‘putting national interests first’. Yes, we can see that happening in Sarawak even as we speak. The Sarawak state election is all about putting national interests first and not about individual party interests.

MOTHER OF ALL COMBOS: DR M & ANWAR TIE-UP IN GE14 TO ANNIHILATE UMNO-BN IF NAJIB DOESN’T QUIT
(Malaysia Chronicle a.k.a. Suara Tian Chua) – After a long period of hostility, the spirit behind the Save Malaysia movement and the Citizens’ Declaration, which seeks the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Najib Razak, has brought together Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Anwar Ibrahim, who have been foes since 1998.
Starting with Anwar expressing support for the efforts made by Tun Mahathir in making the Citizens’ Declaration a reality, and then citing the need to put national interest first, Anwar announcing he has already forgiven the former prime minister, it is clear the Save Malaysia movement led by Kamaruddin Jaafar is becoming more focused.
Kamaruddin, the Tumpat MP, has long been known as a confidant of Anwar’s. When Anwar was sacked from Umno, he (Kamaruddin) chose to join Pas and was appointed Secretary General of the party. When Pas skidded into trouble and split down the line, leading to the formation of Amanah, Kamaruddin opted to join PKR.
But whichever his party, Kamaruddin’s heart and loyalty remains with Anwar. In addition, he is now the Secretary General of the Save Malaysia movement. Azmin Ali, who is also another of Anwar’s right-hand men has generously provided an office for the movement.
It is learned that Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, the PKR president does not object to Kamaruddin’s appointment, and this gives the impression that all the elements are in place for a meeting between Anwar and Tun Mahathir.
The Save Malaysia movement has set a goal to collect one million signatures for the Citizens’ Declaration and the management will need a full-time office. Tun Mahathir has been reported to have expressed willingness to go down to the states to attend its programs.
This means, indirectly there already exists a conscious willingness for Mahathir and Anwar to work together to topple Najib.
They are not joined only in the effort to get Najib to quit immediately over the 1MDB scandal and RM2.6 billion but if the Prime Minister continues to be stubborn and refuse to step down, they will surely continue to co-operate in the upcoming general elections.
Then, the 14th General Election will witness the most intense clash that UMNO and BN have encountered, where it is not impossible that Tun Mahathir will allow himself to become the guiding hand behind the main opposition parties, except for PAS which might opt to play alone.
It will be difficult for Tun Mahathir to avoid involvement with the opposition parties if Najib does not resign and goes through with the sacking of Muhyiddin Yassin, Shafie and Mukhriz Mahathir from Umno.
If they are sacked from Umno, the three leaders can stand for election either as an independent candidate backed by Pakatan Harapan or use one of the symbols of the parties in the coalition.
With Anwar feeding ideas from within prison while Tun Mahathir rolls up his sleeves to campaign, it will be extremely difficult for Umno and BN to win and form a government.
The Tun Mahathir and Anwar combination will be a nightmare for Umno and BN, which they can only avoid if Najib is ready to resign immediately.
The choice is now in the hands of Najib not Tun Mahathir or Anwar.
