(MMO) – The six Sarawak seat clashes between PKR and DAP will not have any effect on the ties between the Pakatan Harapan coalition parties, Nurul Izzah Anwar said today.

The PKR vice-president said the focus was now on the Sarawak state election, and that any issues between the party and DAP will be address after May 7.

“I’m really glad that we continue to share an engagement with the DAP till this very second. I’m confident that we will prevail.

“I think the ties between us are far stronger than any particular electoral arrangement. I’m confident we will endure and prevail this challenge,” she told a news conference here.

“We would like to move on and re-orientate our focus just on candidates fighting it out against Barisan Nasional.

“We will certainly handle what needs to be handled after May 7. Focus on elections. Let the best candidate win,” the Lembah Pantai MP added.

Nurul Izzah, who is also PKR co-elections director also echoed DAP’s Tony Pua’s recent remarks on the seat clashes in Sarawak, saying that all parties should “move on”.

“I think YB Tony Pua also used the term moving on. It’s a nice term to be used by all sides.

“Moving on with contest at hand and as I stated before really supporting our candidates on ground zero,” she said.
