Mahathir Doesn’t Know; It Takes Two To Tango!
The Malaysian Observer
The tango is a dance which is like tai chi, but at a slightly faster pace. The tango requires two (2) people to be intricately and personally invested in the dance.
Tun ‘M’ has been trying to get Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to dance with him for more than a year. No matter how hard Tun tries to coerce, prod, poke fun at or insinuate wrong doings; nothing is working to get the Prime Minister on the dance floor!
When Tun ‘M’ played the crooked bridge to Singapore song he thought that it would get a response from number one, but Tun still found that he was out there alone!
Not rebuffed; Tun ‘M’ played his new favorite song; ‘1MDB the money you thought was yours for free’!
It did not matter which version (RM 42 billion less or more) Tun ‘M’ tried to use to prompt the Prime Minister to take the floor; he (the Prime Minister) refused to tango with Tun ‘M’ over something that he knew was a non issue.
At this point, misery was starting to set in as Tun ‘M’ realized that all his efforts to tango with the Prime Minister were summarily dismissed. Still, not wanting to continue to look foolish by tangoing alone; Tun gathered around him others who also have a stake in seeing the PM ousted!
It is said that misery loves company, so Tun gathered around him miserable company in the likes of the DAP, PKR the newly miserable Amanah and an assortment of others whom make up the ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign). These groups which Tun has ‘M’ entwined himself were like minions looking for a boss to lead them to the promise land!
The only obstacle (they believed) which stood in the way of the Tun and the opposition reaching the promise land (Putrajaya) or personal riches and positions for the others is Prime Minister Najib Razak; if they could some how oust him the way would be clear!
Now that this band of conspirator minions had a boss in Tun ‘M’; they believed they had someone who knew how to tango with the Prime Minister. However, even with Tun’s constant prodding and baiting; the Prime Minister barely gave Tun ‘M’ a glance out of the corner of his eye.
