Mukhriz is just trying to save Malaysia
Yes, if Sarawak falls then the credit must be given to Mukhriz, Mahathir, Muhyiddin and the rest of the ANC who worked so hard to make sure that the opposition wins Sarawak. And the reason that the opposition must win Sarawak is to save Malaysia and not so that Mukhriz can make himself the Prime Minister.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
No, says Mukhriz Mahathir. He and the Anti-Najib Campaign or ANC are not trying to oust Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak so that he can make himself the new Deputy Prime Minister and then the Prime Minister by 2020 or beyond. He and the ANC are trying to oust Najib to save Malaysia.
And the reason they need to save Malaysia is because Najib stole more than RM50 billion of 1MDB’s money and because RM2.6 billion of that money which Najib stole was transferred to his personal bank account.
Did Najib steal RM50 billion of 1MDB’s money and was RM2.6 billion of that RM50 billion transferred to Najib’s personal bank account? Yes, says Mukhriz and his father, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, plus the rest of the ANC. And they know because this was what Sarawak Report, the Wall Street Journal, The Malaysian Insider and The Edge said. And since they said it then it must be true.
Even the then Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin confirmed that what was being said about 1MDB and the RM2.6 billion is true. And it is true, said Muhyiddin, because The Edge said so, and Muhyiddin also confirmed that all his information regarding the matter came from The Edge.
So that is why, in a nutshell, Najib needs to be ousted — and not because Mukhriz wants to make himself the Deputy Prime Minister and then within five years or so after that make himself the Prime Minister. (And if anyone says otherwise he is going to sue their pants off).
The proof that Najib has committed a crime was first revealed in December 2014 when Khairuddin Abu Hassan made that police report. After that, all through 2015, Sarawak Report, the Wall Street Journal, The Malaysian Insider and The Edge went to town with the story.
So this is not about personal ambition. This is not about Mahathir trying to ensure his legacy is protected. This is not about Mahathir trying to install his dynasty before he dies. This is not about Mukhriz trying to make himself the Prime Minister. This is about saving Malaysia.
So the ‘save Malaysia’ and the Anti-Najib Campaigns were launched soon after the May 2013 general election when it was discovered 18 months later that Najib had stolen RM50 billion of 1MDB’s money and that RM2.6 billion of that money had been transferred to his personal bank account.
Oops…hold on a minute. A save Malaysia campaign and the ANC were launched in 2013 because in 2015 Sarawak Report, the Wall Street Journal, The Malaysian Insider and The Edge had revealed that Najib had stolen RM50 billion of 1MDB’s money and that RM2.6 billion of that money had been transferred to his personal bank account?
Hmm…that does not sound quite right.
Anyway, Mukhriz, Mahathir, Muhyiddin and the rest of the ANC are so serious about saving Malaysia that they are going all out to make sure that Barisan Nasional loses the Sarawak state election tomorrow.
Mukhriz, Mahathir, Muhyiddin and the rest of the ANC have been campaigning in Sarawak and have been going house-to-house to help the opposition win tomorrow’s state election.
Mukhriz, Mahathir, Muhyiddin and the rest of the ANC are of the opinion that the only way to save Malaysia would be to oust Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and to be able to do this the opposition must win at least 42 seats in the Sarawak State Assembly.
If they cannot win at least 42 seats then they must win not less than 28 seats to ensure that Barisan Nasional loses its two-thirds majority in the Sarawak State Assembly. And that is why Mukhriz, Mahathir, Muhyiddin and the rest of the ANC are campaigning very hard in Sarawak.
And because Mukhriz, Mahathir, Muhyiddin and the rest of the ANC are helping the opposition to win in Sarawak, Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Anwar Ibrahim, Mat Sabu, and the rest of the Pakatuns have appointed Mahathir as the de facto opposition leader and his son, Mukhriz, as the Prime Minister-in-waiting.
And in the next 30 hours or so we will know whether Mukhriz’s, Mahathir’s, Muhyiddin’s and the rest of the ANC’s strategy to save Malaysia (and not to help Mukhriz make himself the Prime Minister) is proven successful once the Sarawak state election results start coming in.
Oops…sorry, I was just told that Mukhriz, Mahathir, Muhyiddin and the rest of the ANC did not go down to Sarawak to help the opposition since Mukhriz is not going to be able to make himself Prime Minister after all. In fact, he may not even be an Umno member any longer by the end of this month.
