Rafizi hands over info on alleged graft in Selangor to MACC
(MMO) – PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli submitted today his information on alleging corruption within the Selangor government to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Speaking to reporters outside the MACC’s office here, Rafizi urged the public to be fair to both MACC and the state government until those allegations were confirmed.
“I have handed information related to complaints of wrongdoing by the Selangor state government. I am subjected under their laws so I cannot give specifics.
“Be fair to the Selangor state government and be fair to SPRM. Treat it as a normal thing and if there is basis to those allegations, they will continue investigation,” the party secretary-general said, using the Malay abbreviation for MACC.
The Pandan MP has come under scrutiny from party colleagues following a leak of his WhatsApp messages two weeks ago in which he claimed to have information on demands for cash and sexual favours that allegedly implicate some Selangor government officials.
