Nik Abduh: We take good care of our relations with PKR

(The Star) – PAS and PKR still maintain a good relationship, says PAS Youth chief Nik Abduh Nik Aziz (pic), citing the administration of the Selangor state government as an example of teamwork.

“We take good care of our relationship with PKR and I hope the Selangor state government becomes a good example of a state where there is mutual respect between the component parties,” he told a press conference at the wing’s muktamar.

“Although DAP is not with us, I hope if the Selangor government can maintain good relations, I am confident that can bring benefit to the public,” he said.

Nik Abduh, who is Pasir Mas MP, stressed that PAS would continue to be the opposition and play a role in the third block.

“We are still in the opposition block. We are not together with the ruling Barisan Nasional.

“It’s just that ours is the third block, and the third block can negotiate with any Opposition groups,” he said.

Nik Abduh explained that PAS has only one rule when it comes to cooperation that there is mutual respect.

He said PAS was also in talks with other parties such as Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM) and has a relationship with Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia (PIBM).

The muktamar ends on Saturday.
