Faced with disgrace after failed coup against Azmin, Rafizi takes aim at Rosmah
(Malaysian Digest) – PKR secretary general Rafizi Ramli should focus his attention more on how his party will fare in the upcoming by-election in Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar which will be contested by Parti Amanah Negara’s (Amanah) candidate representing Pakatan Harapan.
The Pandan MP should also use this campaign period set during this holy month of Ramadan to speak truthfully and not make any unnecessary false claims like for instance, accusing the prime minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor of using the government’s private jet for a personal holiday to Istanbul.
Special aid to Rosmah, Datuk Rizal Mansor in a statement yesterday stated that the PM wife’s trip to Istanbul was to receive the 3G Children Welfare Award by the Global Good Governance Award 2016.
He defended her right to utilise the private jet as part of her official duties and also due to the fact that Rosmah’s official schedule is currently packed with other events and in that particular instance, she had to rush back to attend a national Girl Guides summit officiated by the Raja Permaisuri Agong.
“At least Datin Seri Paduka Rosmah has introduced a programme that is also globally recognised to benefit thousands of children.
“What programme has he done? YB’s unfounded comment is hilarious. Besides, we are encouraged to do good deeds towards others in this holy month of Ramadan,” reminded Rizal.
The public has grown weary of Rafizi’s explosive exposé that are designed to make himself appear as the public’s saviour but these claims, which are largely unsubstantiated have been proven false.
His empty rhetoric is revealed when he conspired with former PKR Secretary General Datuk Saifuddin Nasution in launching the ‘Kajang Move’.
That nefarious plot was to eliminate Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim from his position as Selangor’s MB with accusations of misdemeanour as well as bribery, which have all been proven false after they were brought to the court.
More recently, Rafizi’s reputation has suffered another blow when his attempt to bring down Datuk Seri Azmin Ali from his position as the MB failed miserably.
Faced with disgrace, he decides to turn his attention to Rosmah instead.
Rafizi’s ‘Kajang Move 2.0′ targeted at Azmin Ali with accusations of bribery and sex in the Selangor MB’s administration has been brushed off by Azmin who described the attempt as ‘cowardly’ and completely unfounded.
“Accusing the state government without any supporting evidence and to spread these accusations to the public is a cowardly move, irresponsible and in bad faith,” said Azmin.
