Why did Muhyiddin block the court case if he is innocent?

So Muhyiddin blew the golden opportunity he had to clear his name by blocking the court proceedings next week. Merely denying that he is not involved in an affair is not good enough. Muhyiddin needs to prove his innocence. And he refuses to do that by blocking the court case next week. So until Muhyiddin can prove his innocence we have to assume he is guilty, just like what they have subjected Najib to.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Muhyiddin Yassin has denied the ‘wild allegations’ that Malaysia Today has made against him. Malaysiakini reported (see below) that the allegations that Muhyiddin denies are those regarding his affair with a married woman. But that is what Malaysiakini said. That is not what Muhyiddin said. Muhyiddin just said he denies the ‘wild allegations’ that have been made against him without saying in detail which of the so many allegations he is denying.

So which of the allegations are Muhyiddin denying? Is he denying just one of the allegations regarding his affair with a married woman and is he saying that all the other allegations that have also been made against him are true so he is not denying them?

I mean other than the affair with a married woman allegation we have also said that it was he who brought the issue of 1MDB to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and it was he who hasut (instigated) the old man to use that as the catalyst to oust Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. In fact, Mahathir more or less confirmed this when the old man said many people had come to see him to complain about 1MDB and had asked him to take action.

We also said that Muhyiddin acted as if he did not understand the 1MDB issue so that he can spread lies and then pretend that he is not lying but that his understanding came from reading about it in The Edge — although the matter was discussed at the Cabinet meetings and even in the Cabinet meeting that Muhyiddin himself chaired. So Muhyiddin just buat bodoh and continued to make allegations on what he said was his understanding based on the little information that he had.

We also alleged that Muhyiddin is Mahathir’s running mate in the ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign) and that they have set aside a budget of RM2 billion to oust Najib and replace him with Mahathir’s proxy Prime Minister and with Mukhriz as the new Deputy Prime Minister. We also said that part of this RM2 billion was used to bribe Mat Salleh bloggers and journalists in the US and UK to spin lies regarding 1MDB and Najib’s family.

We also said that they tried to sabotage the debt reduction and rationalisation effort for 1MDB so that the investment company would fail. Furthermore, they leaked documents to foreign publications and blogs so that 1MDB could be run down in the effort to sabotage the investment company plus they doctored and fabricated documents.

We further alleged that Mahathir, Muhyiddin, Mukhriz and all those others in the ANC lied that RM42 billion and maybe even as high as RM50 billion or more had disappeared into thin air and that these lies were meant to pressure Najib into resigning so that Mahathir could take over and place his proxy and son in Putrajaya.

Yes, that and much more have been raised but Muhyiddin has not denied any of them. According to Malaysiakini he just denies the allegation regarding the affair with a married woman.

Okay, they, too, have made allegations against Najib and as much as Najib denies those allegations they say that that is not good enough. They will not accept Najib’s denial. They want Najib to prove his innocence. So Muhyiddin has to now do the same thing. He, too, must prove his innocence just like what they want Najib to do.

First of all Muhyiddin can explain why the court proceedings next week have been postponed. If Muhyiddin is not involved and if the allegation that he is having an affair with a married woman is false then the hearing in court next week can prove that.

But then they blocked the hearing next week and want this whole matter to be settled out of court. This means Muhyiddin will never be able to prove his innocence. Only when the name or names of those men this woman is having an affair with are mentioned in court would Muhyiddin be able to prove he is not involved.

Malicious slander, says Muhyiddin of RPK’s allegations

(Malaysiakini) – Former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin has hit out at fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin for a series of blog entries linking him to an alleged affair with a married woman.

“The wild accusations made against me by Raja Petra Kamarudin in a series of entries in his blog Malaysia Today several days ago are totally unfounded and ill-intentioned.”

“All the allegations are malicious slander and spread only to destroy my integrity and smells of dirty politics, what more being done in this holy month of Ramadan,” Muhyiddin said in a statement.

The former DPM added that in this holy month of forgiveness and blessings, those who have slandered him should take stock of themselves and pray that their sins be forgiven.

“If they are aware of their offence, they should ask for forgiveness,” he said.

The Pagoh MP believes that all the accusations against him are intended to tarnish his reputation, now that he is no longer a cabinet member and is vocally speaking up for the truth.

“God’s test for me this Ramadan is very grave. I must maintain calm, be patient and pray that God ease all of our affairs,” said Muhyiddin.

The former deputy premier had featured prominently in several recent blog posts by Raja Petra, commonly referred to by his initials of RPK, detailing the alleged affair and other supposed indiscretions.
