Muhyiddin must sue to prove his innocence

Muhyiddin Yassin says he has been slandered and he denies having an affair with someone’s wife. Well, in that case he must sue Nika Gee because it was she who said she is having an affair with Muhyiddin. And if Muhyiddin does not sue that means Nika is telling the truth and Muhyiddin is lying through his teeth.

The ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign) people and the Pakatuns say that if Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak is innocent then he must sue the Mat Salleh bloggers and journalists from the UK and US who accused him of stealing RM42 billion and probably even more than RM50 billion of the Malaysian taxpayers’ money. Since Najib refuses to sue that can only mean be is guilty.

Actually, if you know your law, then you would know it is impossible for Najib to sue anyone who lies about him in the UK and the US. For example, according to the new UK libel and slander rules, to sue someone for libel/slander in the UK you must have some sort of connection to the UK. If you have nothing to do with the UK then you cannot sue a British citizen in the UK court.

So Najib would be wasting his time suing anyone for libel or slander in the UK because he has no right to do so. And all those ANC people and those Pakatuns who are saying that since Najib refuses to sue this means he is guilty are talking a lot of nonsense and only demonstrate their ignorance of the UK legal system.

Anyway, as far as Muhyiddin Yassin’s case is concerned, however, that is another matter. No doubt Muhyiddin cannot sue me in a UK court because he has nothing to do with the UK. But then, if you were to read the Statutory Declaration below, you can see that it was his mistress, Nika Gee Siew Yee, who made the allegation that she was having an affair with Muhyiddin.

Basically, the SD that was made by Nika’s husband just relates what his wife told him. The SD is about his wife’s confession. And it was his wife who testified that she was having a long-term affair with Muhyiddin.

So the allegation that Muhyiddin is having an affair with Nika Gee came from her. And the husband is telling us in that SD that this is what she confessed. So if Muhyiddin wants to deny this and wants to sue anyone who alleges that he is having an affair with someone’s wife then he must sue Nika Gee.

The only way for Muhyiddin to clear his name would be to sue. There is no other way. I believe this is the same thing they told Najib — that the only way for Najib to clear his name is to sue. But then Najib cannot come here to the UK to sue because he has nothing to do with the UK. However, Muhyiddin will face no problems if he wants to sue because he and Nika are both in Malaysia and there are no jurisdiction and territorial issues to overcome.

So, Muhyiddin, if you are really innocent and are a victim of slander, as you say, then sue. And you have to sue Nika Gee since she is the one who made that allegation. Of course, Muhyiddin can also sue both Nika Gee and her husband jointly if he so wishes.

But whatever it may be, Muhyiddin must sue. He cannot not sue. If Muhyiddin does not sue then the allegation is true and he has not been slandered. The ball is now in Muhyiddin’s court. Sue or be damned forever as not just a philanderer but a liar to boot.

And this is the man Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and the ANC wants as the proxy Prime Minister once they manage to oust Najib? Let us see tomorrow whether the voters in Kuala Kangsar and Sungai Besar are going to agree, especially when the purpose for appointing Muhyiddin the proxy Prime Minister is so that Mukhriz can become the Deputy Prime Minister.
