Mokhzani’s ex-Kencana partner charged with insider trading

(MMO) – Former non-independent executive director of Kencana Petroleum Berhad Datuk Yeow Kheng Chew and two others were charged today with insider trading at the Sessions Court here.

According to The Star Online, Yeow, Paulene Chee Yuet Fang and Tan Yee Chee, a remisier, were alleged to have committed the offence back in 2011.

Yeow, the news report said, was a partner of Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir when the latter was chief executive of Kencana.

Mokhzani, who is the second son to the fourth prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Yeow both resigned from the company in 2015.
