DAP commits treason by slandering the King
The Rulers are upset with the DAP-led Pakatan Harapan and with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad regarding the slander they are being subjected to. That is why the Rulers refuse to meet Mahathir and his ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign). The opposition, especially DAP, will first need to apologise to the Rulers or else they will remain persona non grata.

DAP and the DAP-led Pakatan Harapan are alleging that PAS and Umno are collaborating to turn Malaysia into an Islamic State by introducing the Syariah laws of Hudud. And that is the whole purpose of Abdul Hadi Awang’s private member Syariah Amendment Bill that he brought to Parliament, allege DAP and the DAP-led Pakatan Harapan.
This is actually a slander on the Conference of Rulers plus on His Majesty the Agong and their Highnesses the nine State Rulers. This is because there is no way in hell that Hudud can be introduced in Malaysia or Malaysia can be turned into an Islamic State without first the consent of the Conference of Rulers and then the consent of the nine State Rulers.
Anything at all regarding Islam in each respective state needs the consent of the Ruler of that State. There is no going around this.
To allege that PAS and Umno are collaborating to turn Malaysia into an Islamic State by introducing the Syariah laws of Hudud means that the Conference of Rulers plus His Majesty the Agong and their Highnesses the nine State Rulers are either also collaborating with PAS and Umno or they have no power and authority over Islam.
Some of the Rulers are extremely upset with the opposition and this is one of the reasons the Rulers refuse to meet the new opposition leader, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Mahathir has been trying to get an appointment for an audience with the Rulers so that he can complain about Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak but so far they have ignored him.
Opposition supporters, especially the more ignorant Chinese and Indians, believe that all that needs to happen is for Hadi’s Syariah Amendment Bill to be passed in Parliament and the next day Hudud becomes the law of the land and hands of thieves will get chopped off. That is a downright lie, which is why the Rulers are so upset.
Parliament can only suggest. Then what Parliament suggests has to be brought to the Conference of Rulers for discussion. The Conference of Rulers then decides whether to accept or reject what Parliament suggests.
Even if the Conference of Rulers accepts the suggestion, each State Ruler then has to bring it to the State Royal Council after first getting advice from the State Mufti and from the State Religious Department. The State Royal Council then, on the advice of the State Mufti and the State Religious Department, will deliberate on the matter.
HRH the State Ruler then makes the final decision and it could be against or in agreement with what the State Royal Council decides. In other words, the final word comes from the State Ruler.
So Hadi’s Syariah Amendment Bill is, at this stage, not worth the paper it is written on. There are so many stages that it needs to go through. First Parliament needs to pass it. Then the Conference of Rulers need to pass it. Then the State Mufti and the State Religious Department need to pass it. Then the State Royal Council need to pass it. And finally the State Ruler needs to say yes or no before Hudud becomes law.
At this stage no one has said yes to Hudud yet. And to suggest that it is going to become law is a massive insult to the Rulers. It is as good as saying that Malaysia is a Republic and that the Rulers are not significant. Only the DAP Chinese and DAP-led Pakatan Harapan will think this way.
DAP had better be careful. The way they are going they are making enemies of the Raja-Raja Melayu. And the last thing that DAP wants is for the Malays to rise up in defence of the maruah Raja-Raja Melayu.
